Best solution here is just delete this two systems. One of the reasons for me to quit personally was the elixir system. I've seen from our kr friends that this system sucks ass, and now I'm really glad to see that so much more people agree with fact that elixirs=shit

I've reduced my playtime down to a 20th of what I used to play and I'm on the verge of quitting for the same reason. Can't find parties for Voldis, so I earn gold and it all gets blown on elixirs... Been stuck on 39 forever now and it's exhausting, I didn't do a single raid last week

This + the new systems pretty much requiring all players to do both hard mode and normal mode of raids to complete... Casual players and new players need not bother even trying this game. unfortunately it is now a hardcore player only game.

Im kinda the same, but another reason is the fact that they keep sending content when the couple hours i play 1 is just to find lobbies, way to many things and factors to play a game and have fun

@@rc8929 I'm lucky that I have a support friend who's 1620, but I think dps for g2 is gonna be tough for the type of groups we play with cuz we both on ilvl... We gonna start progging tonight and looking forward to it, but now all my gold is gonna go into advanced honing! Dunno when I'm gonna finally get my elixir 40, the game is so broken in the West with all these gold sinks that make no sense for how we get brutally forced to try play the game at x2 speed. Worst of all alot of the community is somehow able to put up with this for eternity, so it means that you have to as well or you get left behind o.O I don't wanna ONLY play Lost Ark for years lol

I've been telling my guildies from day 1 that this system is utter trash and they initially liked it. Glad that most people finally wake up and see what it is... it's basically a slot machine simulator inside the game which takes DOZENS of hours to sit through on a full roster without even the possibilty to skip animations and doesn't have any sort of pity system. Seriously, tell me a system that is worse in any other mmo?

This game has so much RNG / Variations plus important things don't have pity system such as Elixirs or Weapon/Armor Qualities. I wonder how Korean people live in their real life. Is everything gamba on Korean country?

I was already not cutting elixirs since it was costly and tedious. I have about 40 saved up on my main(no 35/40 set) that I was having troubles finding the will to cut and the expected half cost only was already going to be shit. Now the shit solution that did nothing to impact the tedium and RNG aspects of the system is not going to do anything at all except for new elixirs?

So why are you instantly assuming the new elixirs only drop from hard mode when thats not stated anywhere in the letter? If they're adding in a completely new elixir I feel like this might be obtainable from both normal and hard at different rates. Which would mean this is actually better than what most people expected since 1610's will actually have a shot at getting 40 set by doing normal mode.

I somehow managed to get 40 set on purple elixirs on my one character, meanwhile i just cut 3 event chests worth of purple elixirs on a different character and didnt get a single 4/3, they need to rework this dogshit ass system or just delete it

i would put only one set lv and requirement 30 (4/2 or 5/1 on all pieces). if you want bis/min max (like a 97 stone) you can still do elixir, if you only need set (no more gatekeep) it would be far easier. problem solved.

I'd be happy if they crash the essence of wisdom market. Crafting the extra elixirs is half the cost. There are 2 types of Essence of Wisdom. The post doesn't necessarily say that there wont be a new version. That would be 3 types on the market. On tracendence, those Soundstone fragments is like 200g for a single retry. I would like the Essence of Wisdom to go from the ~60g to 5g. That's almost 400 per elixir. Maybe solo mode will flood the market as well with extra Essence of Wisdom. Still waiting for the full gamba mode where i just pay 500g and it just randomly does the elixir for me.

No, here's an easy way to think about it. Let's say you owe 300K gold for elixirs. Currently, it takes 8 weeks and you spend 300K. You spent 37.5K per week. The change doubles the progression rate and halves the cost. This means you'll spend 150K over 4 weeks. This is also 37.5K per week, but you'll be done four weeks earlier and have spent half as much overall. Of course, you could also just stick to six elixirs per week, and you'll only spend 18.75K per week.

@@JordanIdk This system is dogshit, I had friends who spent over 300k to get a 40 set, and they are not even all BIS elixirs. At least with transcendence when youre done youre done, you dont have to lose your mind over min maxing old content to get the best possible elixirs.

Wait: so did these changes actually come in for KR or are we speculating still? Because if we're speculating still...why? I get you gotta try to make videos but it always feels like jumping the gun if these systems aren't in yet and we don't know the exacts. Once we know the exacts, then we can bitch and moan to voice our discontentment...or KR can since it won't be for us YET. The new elixirs might just be the only new elixirs we can make now, but old ones won't change retroactively. But we don't know that either so we just need to wait and see.

I mean there is quite obviously written that there will be new type with cheaper cost, it have even different name, so yes maybe we will be able to craft them, but it is almost sure that those which we got will cost 2x more... whole this "elixirs nerf" is just pure clownfest, they did something just so they can say they did, but in reality you will still spend tons of time interacting with worst system ingame, wasting lot of gold and be dissapointed by minimal or no progress week after week. Only thing which basically changed is, that we can get elixirs faster and hopefully a bit cheaper, but all other painpoints of that system are still there. They did literally bare minimum and even in that they were greedy and instead of changing price in general, they came with new type...

@@m.m85434 I'm not advocating for elixirs, but just suggesting we wait to get the exacts so we can be more exact with our complaints. We can complain that we're not getting a reform of the system, because we know that isn't what we're getting at all. I guess I needed to be more specific in that my question was about the subject of the video, the part where people are speculating that crafted elixirs will be the old ones. If that is 100% how that works, then shit--we really should complain. But I don't think we know 100% yet.

people still whining about elixirs is crazy to me, they are shoving elixir supply chests down our throat from left and right + add more mats and less cost to it next month. I got 40 set on chars and havent cut a single legendary elixir for gold yet. Idk if yall expect to have 40 set within a weeks time, but its rly insane to me how yall cant get enough lol. Its a progression system just like any other. Is it a good one? no. But they have done plenty to accelerate it at this point.
