The ca. 1719 house I owned 20 years ago (Massachusetts, USA) was originally owned by a family (Newton) who had bloomers who had an Iron works (ca. 1729) on a stream. I started looking into it and found a group trying to work out that direct reduction process. Successfully made 3 blooms. One I think was 32lbs!

This is real history, people doing stuff that isn't only fighting, building on knowledge that's gotten us to a place where we're able to get off the planet, truly amazing we were around for tens of thousands of years with basic stone tools, then something changed, I say it was freedom of thought; all original ideas are built on the acceptability of being different and being in a culture with a level of freedom and acceptability to try different things, think differently, and not be afraid of the unknown, or minor failures.

In England, a 'cottage' is defined more by the status of the people it was originally built to house than any specific feature of the building. Cottages were rental housing for working class people, a name used for centuries for such homes. It was even used for what we'd now call townhouses, row houses, or terraced houses built to house working class people (often as part of an overall development project for a town, with the terraced cottages being built to house the workers of a new mill being built nearby).

I am not interested in Dan’s new channel and I consider his ads a waster of my time and am offended that they have gotten around the removal of ads to Premium subscribers by adding ads at the beginning of every video.
