THE ELSER HOTEL : Another Great Place To Stay In Miami Before A Cruise!

The Elser hotel and Residences is an apartment style hotel offering studio, one and two bedroom units. The Elser is only a 5 minute drive to the Virgin Voyages Cruise terminal, which makes it extremely convenient.
We had a studio room that had full size appliances, and a stackable washer/dryer right in our room! The views of Biscane Bay cannot be beat, we even had a balcony.
The Elser is also right across from Bayside Marketplace, that offers shopping and dining, it's a very easy 5-7 minute walk from the front door of the hotel.

Floor 45 has an excellent view! But not a great fire alarm escape plan. I love the turning tv that can be watched from either side of the room. I love the rooftop pool and pool bar and hang out area. The Elser Hotel looks nice. Thanks for the tour!

To be fair she asked if we wanted a high or low floor, so the escape plan is on us. 😁 I liked that the pool park and chill out area were covered, that was nice!

Hi guys! So glad this was helpful! We highly recommend both places. Just depends on budget really. Let us know if you have any questions at all. Both hotels are about 15-20 minute Uber from Miami airport, 30 or so min from Ft. Lauderdale. Hope you’ve both been well!

The hotel looks very nice. I agree about having restaurants onsite. So mimics more convenient. The tv is definitely quirky. Cool concept however trying to watching from the couch in the living room would put a kink in my neck. The views are amazing. I love Miami….. especially at night. It’s so pretty.

I do like not having to leave the hotel, especially in a city we aren’t super familiar with. Lol so you’d just have to stay in bed and watch TV 🤣 the skyline of Miami really is beautiful!

Hi there! Unfortunately there is not a hotel within walking distance to the terminal, it is across a very busy bridge that you wouldn’t want to walk across. The Elser was a quick 5 minute Uber/Lyft ride away though and I believe was only $10/15 with tip depending on what size vehicle you need. Thanks so much

Are there additional charges to the base rate due to the area , and where the incidental charges expensive ? Looking to stay a couple nights somewhere in that area sorry for the many questions lol

Hi! I believe there is a $200 daily incidentals hold that is released when you check out, also if I remember correctly there is a $50 per night resort fee, but free WiFi! We’ve also stayed at the Intercontinental Miami nearby, their fees may be fairly similar. We loved them both. Hope that helps! And feel free to ask as many questions as you like 😀
