Great interview, David. I love Mouseman furniture, etc... 'No man' and 'Beaverman' - good tips!

He’s a very interesting chap…more to come at some point from his auction room. But, don’t be looking out for ‘no man’ …it’s ‘Gnome Man’ !

Summersgill’s is by far the best auction house I have ever dealt with. He also sells a lot of mid-century and Danish furniture. A proper old-school family auction house.

Thompson pieces weren't exported here, but it might be worthwhile to keep an eye out for gnomeman and beaverman too. We do see Owlsey-related things once in a blue moon, but you might say he didn't make furniture. He did make you see things though.(LOL)

Be very interested in seeing Tim do follow up videos :) - Thomas Whittaker (Gnomeman) wasn't trained at Robert Thompson's but was in Germany, which is why his designs are very Black forest in style but share some similarities to the work of Mouseman. Definitely worth investing in his work. Love the content David! Best wishes, Charlie, Ingnet Antiques
