The Emergence of Jew Hatred Across Canadian Universities | Documentary

This docmentary deep dives into the stories of antisemitism across Canadian Universities. The purpose of this documentary was hear first-hand stories about the atmosphere on campus, and importantly share time with them to capture the experience for Jewish and Zionist students in Canada.
Students Supporting Israel’s first chapter in Canada was established in 2014 at Ryerson University, now known as Toronto Metropolitan University. Being an international, student-led movement committed to grassroots advocacy, over the years we expanded to other locations across Canada, including McGill University, York University, University of Manitoba, and the University of Calgary. The antisemitism that Canadian students are experiencing is intense and prevalent every day, but the students are incredibly strong.

This is completely heartbreaking and unnacceptable. I wish I were there in person to openly support the Jewish students, physically if necessary. Canada is not the dreamland one reads about in the tourist pamphlets. I remember the day after the Boston Marathon bombing there was a large Islam propaganda stall outside the library in London, Ontario. They had signs like 'Islam respects women' and 'Islam respects other religions and races'. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and t was a complete joke for anyone who knew anything about the precepts of Islam and had first-hand experience of people who follow it to the letter. It was also such a dishonour to the victims of the Jihadi attacks worldwide. Let's not forget that Canada refused to grant safe haven to a ship filled with Jews fleeing the Nazi genocide in 1939.
