It's not that no one knew it was possible. It was more like it was impossible in the first place. Yeah, most people in that world probably doesn't know how to use magic like Cid does, but Alpha herself stated that only Cid was able to handle the concentrated magic power like that. Normal people wouldn't be able to handle the amount of stress from compressing magic power like that and would most likely die from it. It wasn't exactly stated as I just said, but Alpha does state something similar during the "John Smith" arc. Anyway, Cid is just abnormal.

Each one is unique and has a very different way of doing things, like Alpha is Strong, a great leader, and very smart, while others are skilled, and more attuned to being a form of general. Both are very good actually. Manga is alot more on the comedy side but it becomes serious when the arc calls for it. Novel is more on the serious side but that doesn't mean the comedy degraded, it's just a little harder to joke around with just words when unlike the manga.

Tad late but truth be told I think Zeta is the fourth strongest, she doesn't master any technique but can basically copy any of them. Basically, a weaker Alpha more specialized into stealth tactics atm but with beastman strength, agility, and durability. She would probably be stronger than Delta, or at least would be able to beat her in a fight, if she mastered said techniques instead of just switching when she gets bored.

Who calls Beta vs Delta as cap? Just because Beta is "older" than Delta in terms of seniority doesn't mean that Delta is weaker. Pretty sure that within the seven shades, Delta is the 2nd strongest with Alpha being the first. Delta is the type to only listen to people who are stronger than her, and to this point, Delta is only ever afraid of, and listens to, Alpha and Shadow (Cid). If I were to rank the strength of the Shadow Garden's Seven Shades, then the ranking of strength would be: *Alpha -> Delta -> Epsilon -> Beta -> Zeta -> Eta -> Gamma* Zeta, Eta, and Beta's strength has never been fully revealed, especially with the first two, but I can probably say that Eta and Gamma are near dead last since one is a researcher and not exactly said to be a fighter yet, and the other is just completely unathletic and is for sure the weakest. Beta, Zeta, and Epsilon's placement is rather ambiguous for me, since neither Beta nor Zeta ever truly fought in the manga and light novels yet. I'm only placing Epsilon before Beta because Epsilon is said to have the best magic control out of the 7 Shades, and as for Zeta, I just don't know at all. If Zeta is anything like Delta, as they are both beastkins, then Zeta can actually easily place 3rd of the 7 Shades.

I won't agree or disagree about Delta vs Beta since... Beta is "user of all, master of none" so basically she got few many tricks on her sleeve which may make Delta defeat or admit it(depends on what trick and might include shadow or alpha on it). but in a long run it would be Delta. her pure aggressive strength that's too savage is her key winning and most of all endurance. kinda see it like how Adam vs Zeus fight goes. just my opinion on it.

To the video creator... You do realize that the aliases used by the 7 Shadows was derived in the order of when they were each saved, right? And not based on their actual strength. But if you want the to know who's the strongest, then it's Alpha, followed by Delta. As for 3rd, it's hard to decide since Beta and Epsilon seems equal, and Zeta should be a decent contender since she is a beastman. That leaves 6th and 7th but that should be Eta and Gamma respectively. Especially since Eta is more into research while Gamma has no visible hand-eye coordination, whatsoever.

Technically delta is the strongest. She has the most magical power out of the shades but still way below cids but her physical strength was stated to rival cids. The only reason alpha beat her was because alpha knows how to outsmart her and because it was hinted that delta holds back against alpha because she respects alpha because alpha saved her but in terms of raw power, delta is the strongest but in terms of fighting skills, alpha is the better of the two.
