I love how consort yu slapped lady hu, as the mother of their husband... she was very upset that lady hu used prince rong to slander ruyi. Tho lady hu was instructed by wei yanwan I also think that even if shujia had harmed others just for a smile from prince of yu clan ,wei yanwan harmed far more ppl just for power and wealth

Jia did evil for blind love and devotion to Lord Yu. Ling did it for herself. She sacrificed her love for lingyuncha, her mother, brother, and used her kids, and everybody loyal to her to use, discard and ascend - everybody else is nothing. Ling deserves the emperor. Emperor does not deserve Ruyi, Empress XiaoXian, Consort Shu or anybody besides Ling.
