I'm from Ireland and it annoys me when they show the current day bleak depopulated west of the country in these sentimentalisations of our country....Before the british and Normans came we had our culture and ways all over the country including the rich fertile lower altitude land of the mudlands, East and South East ...why not show these areas too instead of the bleak cliffs, beaches and mountains of Mayo, Clare, Kerry, Sligo and Donegal....areas where the masses suffered and died during the famines and mass evictions of the 19th and 18th centuries....
