Enya is the most introverted of the family. 🙂 And even I liked the music of Clannad. Enya is and always be the my favourite. Her music is something else. The sound, the lyrics, her voice.

The Barr Brothers, Whitney, Vulfpeck, Big Thief, The Bonny Light Horseman, The Mountain Goats, Fruit Bats, Nathaniel Rateliff, Billy Strings, Gojira, Voces8, People forget that there was also a lot of bad music back then too, it's just been forgotten about.

The lyrics are sort of silly anyway - it’s all about a beautiful yellow apple given to the singer by a lovely lass, which is lost in the singer’s pocket and replaced by a seedy potato, and then the protagonist spends the rest of the song roaming Ireland from coast to coast trying to find the wondrous apple…

Wow,, this is the first time i have seen Eithne take lead with the band and i have been hearing these guys belt out tunes since i was a very young kid as my parents loved them, this is a rare find i think, must show my Dad when im home next. I think Eithne broke out on her own( Enya) by end of 82,

@@ukopas This idea that she is some sort of delicate flower is a bit of a myth. In fact she left Clannad because she felt she was sidelined. She was never a full member and they were paying her 500 quid a month or something, which was a Huge wage for a teenager in the early 80s. But she wanted to dictate musical direction. Have you heard her in interviews? bragging about her castle? .That is no mystic maiden, that is a child of Thatcher and the "Greed is good" 80s

I’m not a hundred percent sure - I wasn’t around in those days, and all the beards make it harder to tell who’s who 40 years later - but later in the song when you see them all standing side by side, he’s on the far left, with Noel and Pádraig in the middle and Pól on the right, so by process of elimination it must be Ciarán.
