Milestone has an Encre Noire dupe called Bois Noire! VERY nice and earthy. I haven’t tried the original so I can’t compare but it’s good! Do you have the new Encre Indigo?

Definitely not! I thought the same thing as well until I smelled the original. They are very similar but have a different wearability that makes them unique enough individually.

Reviews such as these REALLY confuse me. I LOVE Encre Noire! but it has very, VERY poor sillage, great longevity, but i have to over spray every time, L'Extreme is even worse! Anyone else have that problem?

I definitely know what you mean! I've gotten varying performance with all these, but I think it really depends on how I wear it and my sensitivity to it at the time. I do agree that they overall have better longevity than sillage, but again, it can vary person to person in any situation. It is one of my favorite fragrance lines, though!
