Not a fan of the Hawk, although pre heresy i like Horus as a charming politician/war master leading armies and making decisions. But yea without chaos powers he would turn into blood pudding by the Angel. Nobody will deny that.

New to warhammer and i have to say the writing here is phenomenal as well of course, the narration. I was afraid to dive into warhammer, i thought it would be too much all at once but its put together so well like medieval tapestries of old. Im glad i decided to dive in.

The saddest part of this is that, if you're going into the Heresy without knowing how this all ends, this passage gets you thinking "he's actually going to do it. Sanguinius is actually gonna pull this off".

It speaks volumes that there are 2 fights in the Horus Heresy that we know Horus is going to win. But they're so well written that they almost have me believing that the loyal primarch COULD win. Russ dealt horus a mortal blow but only lost thigh hesitation. Sanguinius has Horus totally outmatched (so far). I can almost imagine Horus losing.

He mocked Horus and showed him how he would not beat him in a fair combat, being both at their best without any juice. He proved him that he was weak by his own and only the powers of Chaos.

Probably not. Sanguinius could beat any primearch (corrupted or not) OTHER then chaos empowered Horus. Don’t get me wrong, this fight basically answers the question “who is the most powerful primearch?”. The answer is Sanguinius. It just happens that Horus isn’t just a primearch. He is a being empowered by all the 4 chaos gods. Only through the powers of the chaos gods can he defeat Sanguinius. None-corrupted Horus wouldn’t stand a chance against him.

@@criticalcommenter I mostly agree that the Angel is overhyped, but his frankly ludicrously impressive achievements in personal combat is remarkable. He is solidly the best individual melee fighter of the 18 standard Primarchs on the strengths of his display during the Siege.

I’d bet if you contacted @theamberking he’d use you in one of his productions , he is friends with most of the other lorekeepers on KZbin and they all do collabd together all the time. Drop him a line ! He’s a solid dude from what few interactions I’ve had with him online. Go for it brother to atleast get your channel out there for exposure. You’re just as good as any of the other VO guys doing 40k content. Go for it bro!
