Advent Children is underrated imo. It's one of the first game based movies that actually depicts depression, guilt and isolation pretty good. Since you love Aerith, you will like Advent Children. And also why Cloud seeing Aerith in Rebirth is not fully surprising :)

I cannot believe Cloud, Barret and Hojo (and a handful of others) had the same voice actor. He's so talented! What a fun journey! As others have mentioned, hope you'll enjoy Advent Children. Afterwards you'll have to google all the Clerith theories about it! I really hope Aerith's fate will change in part 3, and maybe it's just copium, but I feel like with some of the things that have been said in Rebirth especially, it would be cruel of them not to have her live this time around. It's one thing to keep quiet and not say anything and let fans speculate and hope on their own, but quite another to actively encourage hope by having Marlene tell Zack to make Cloud better so he can save Aerith, or Zack shouting to Cloud to save Aerith after she's already "died". I don't think they would be that callous after seeing how much Aerith meant to players and how much time so many people invested in trying to find a way to save her. 🤞

Yea, the team smashed it! Advent Children is on the menu, still deciding if i'll do a reaction or just put my feet up with some good snacks and enjoy it! Im the same. I think being a remake player first and seeing all the major changes from OG i can see at least ONE of the Aeriths joining us again. We hardly got much of Zack either. I did read a lot of people are noticing ties with Advent Children. I think Zack shouting that though, maybe not knowing Aerith fate is basing it off of Marlene's chat about Cloud saving her. I CANT WAIT 3 MORE YEARS!!!

The ending of ff7 is just crafted masterfully, i dont think it matters how epic the part 3 ending is it won't beat that final shot of aerith looking up at the end, gets me every time. Love everything the remakes are doing though

Great playthrough of the OG, I have enjoyed it very much! As for Nanaki/Red XIII, remember from Rebirth he is 48 years old but since his lifespan is much longer than a human he is just a like a teenager in human years. That is why he is still alive 500 years later 😃 Aerith saves the planet with her prayer and holy, but how she got the lifestream to help we never got to see. I'm hoping we get to see more of what she does in part 3 😊 Will you be watching Advent Children now? I know it does have some mixed reviews but I enjoyed it a lot and still watch it from time to time 😊 If you had played Ever Crisis before Rebirht you would have known more about Glenn's backstory. Ever Crisis is good for some of the story we might see in part 3, but I don't think they will add any major story spoilers in Ever Crisis before we get the 3rd part of the Remake series.
