Actually you are comparing two very different things. You were in India for a comparatively short while so everyone was available for you because you were there after a long time. But if you stay here, the story is the same. People do help but they are not there forever because everyone has to support their own life. And secondly, aap keh rahe ki aap straightforward ho rahe ho but then you're sugar coating that India main koi baar baar bole to wo apna pyaar jata rahe hain :) it's not necessary. Yahan people also say because they don't care about other people's boundaries and want to do what they want. You can say it out too if you truly feel you're straightforward now
