I think the Cross Examination “Sister Iris’s Cover-Up” often confuses players because it’s an example of an added statement not being one to object to, but instead unlocking objection to an original statement - namely (spoiler below), you can’t object to Iris dragging the body across Dusky Bridge until she adds that the snowfall had stopped by then (which was after the bridge caught fire).

Spoiler: But i was so happy for Phoenix at 3:22:13 . He faces the person who tried to kill him with a confident smile. He isnt afraid (not even internally), instead hes angry and disgusting. I was so proud of him in that moment for being able to look the person who almost killed him then tried to frame him for murder in the eye. I feel like Phoenix is ofter characterized by the fandom as kind of a dupe. But Phoenix is the type of person who trusts easily but doesnt forgive easily. Betrayal of trust is a HUGE trigger for me. It happened with Dahlia, and it happened with Miles. Only Miles worked to earn that trust back (and it took him a long time too).

I really dont know why the twin thing bothered you so much but you were much happier to assume Iris was a woman that had been imprisoned for murder some how. Like idk them just releashing Dahlia sound much more silly to me

Well, Terry Fawkes managed to escape jail… I think she is bothered because it’s an overused trope. Still, never judge a trope until you see how well it’s executed. That’s one of my rules.

Yeah, pretty weird that it would be that bothersome, considering how well this twist was written. The one thing that I find strange is that she wasn't bothered by the "culprit's name written in blood" trope instead. They used it THREE times in the trilogy, each one being a red herring. That's the one that I was personally bothered by the most.

Yeah this is weird. Considering this Game is from 2004 this was not an overused trope and besides... It was very very well executed. I don't mind everyone has their own opinion but it's weird.

​@@hipersonicc9736 nah, I totally get her reaction. I didn't like the twist at first either. It took me a while to warm up to it. And just because it came out in 2004, doesn't mean that people who don't like the twin trope (like me) would automatically like it. Even if it wasn't an overused trope at the time, it'd still be an overused trope for the person.

Apollo Justice wasn't a very memorable game now that I think about it. I loved the characters but they don't seem to carry the same weight as the characters from the first trilogy. Kristoph Gavin left a very deep impression on me though, probably the biggest one out of the first 4 games for some reason.

Though, aside Kristoph personally I like Phoenix in Apollo Justice but sadly for me his character in that game is (idk the exact word for it) vague, whether because not really much screen time or probably when the story being written they're still unsure how to make this kind Phoenix character are gonna be. Thou I wish they keep how Phoenix looks are in Apollo Justice, but in the next story take more development on to him

I really like this case but I have a pretty big issue with how blasé Wright is about basically everything. Maya has been stuck inside a cellar for days, he finds out his old evil girlfriend was executed a month ago, a man angrily blames him for Mia's death and so on and so forth. I get he can't have an emotional breakdown but I would have liked some more emotion, or even comments from him. We got the running over a burning bridge scene at least.

I know that godot is mad about mia’s death but i think he is being unfair. Mia is the senior and boss in the situation. She’s the one protecting pheonix. I mean sure as friends they should be protecting each other but godot is saying it as if it was his role/job (pheonix is not a knight nor a security gard but a civilian in this situation).

Half the fandom is a bold statememt lmao. Even a lot of people who don't ship wrightworth still see maya and phoenix as platonic. A lot of their banter just has a very sibling vibe to it - and in a lot of ways they mirror edgeworth and franny who ARE adoptive siblings.
