This is by far my favourite moment in the zombies storyline, the music is superb as the first few slow notes are played one after the other, it gives the player the feeling of sudden dread of what they are about to do, although we all know it is going to happen, it kind of makes the player and the characters feel guilty.

couple years ago, i played with this little child around the age of 10. He had no knowledge of cod zombies so pretty much he occasionally got knocked each round. It really didnt matter much since i play solo once in a while. I worked my way up to the easter egg whilst he struggled buying perks, opening the mystery box, and training. After a while, i told the child not to clear the round and leave the final zombie alive, since i already began the final step for the easter egg. Afterwards, I told him to bring the final zombie to me and to glare at planet earth. He was dumbfounded and yelled to his parents in full excitement. His reaction left me a with a big smile.

For some reason I had always thought in my head that when the Earth blows up either Dempsey or Takeo say "my god, what have we done." They never said that in the game. It's just my head playing tricks on me but the more I think on it I kinda think It would be great to hear the massive shift in all three of their attitudes to watching the Earth die. They did all this just for all they know to be wiped out in an instant. Even when they were insane and effected by Richtofen this was the perfect moment for them to show actual emotion of depression.

My theroy is that die rise takes place on a piace of earth's cracked crust, and when the meteors fall from the sky and we don't feel any impact is because is because we are high up in the air, and we can't feel the shake when a meteor passes by, also the other giant non-moving meteors? That are other paices of crust that are launched into space, thus thay don't crash on us :P

Your life is normal, but you watch the three meteors with concern. Then you realize they're missiles. Are they from an alien world? It matters not, because you only have a few seconds to contemplate their origin. Then, impact. If you are lucky, you are instantly vaporized. If you're unlucky, you're stuck wandering a ruined earth, fighting off endless hordes of zombies whilst being pawns for supernatural forces you cannot understand. After ten years of miserable existence, Maxis triumphs, and destroys the earth on a mad quest to reunite with his daughter. Or perhaps Maxis fails. The Earth is restored, yes, but it is now subjected to the whims of a mad omnipotent doctor who relishes in toying with its denizens. Regardless of who wins, Earth and its denizens are fucked. I'm not going to comment further upon the Zombies timeline past Black Ops II because it turns from borderline outlandish to utterly absurd.

What's really sad is that BO3 and its story were an absolute ride. I love so many elements from the Blundell take of the storyline, but I really can not stand how it strayed away from the ambiguous and supernatural atmosphere. Blundell instead chose to put fantasy over science fiction which greatly conflicted with Zelinksi's ideas.
