Been binging the podcast in the last few weeks. All the hope for starfield... Oof The first game I ever loved, loved was Arena. I remember riding my bike several miles to a friend's house one summer to get to watch him play it on his older brothers computer. Eventually I saved up enough money from chores to buy the 30 some floppy discs needed to make my own copy of the game. I lived im a super small town and it wasn't sold anywhere I could go... Anyway, I look back so fondly at those memories, but I just no hope for TES6. Beth has changed the type of company they are, and what they release. You have said several times over the years that Arena and Daggerfall are so different that you can't always rely on them to be faithful to the modern landscape of TES, but for me, I can't escape the feeling the we'll feel the same way about TES6. I mean, when was the last 'good' beth game? Skyrim is 2011, so 13 years. I personally like FO4, but most seem not to. Years to wait to get a bad game :(

End of a Kalpa indeed. All good things must come to an end, nothing lasts forever. Things are sure going to feel different, but this channel existed before Drew and while he was definitely a benefit to the experience it will exist after his departure. I can't imagine doing anything for as long as you all have been producing TES content (Scott and Michael even longer than Drew). I got burned out on playing Skyrim around 2015, so this channel has been my only continued source of TES content and don't plan to leave any time soon. In fact I pretty much stopped playing all video games in 2015. The podcast had become my favorite part of the channel, with the lore videos a close second, I wasn't really as interested in the character builds since I don't play games anymore. For me it's the lore, the lore always out lives the game. I love TES lore and would love to see someone attempt a TES film someday. Perhaps you all can discuss how a TES film would be possible in a future video.

I thought the fire seemed to be gone about 30 episodes ago and I thought you guys were burning out, but then I realized by listening to your voices that you still love talking about all of this stuff still. You preamble for about 15 to 20 min together then for 40 min the 3 of you split that time to discuss. I don't think its enough time. Normally when you end the episode it gives me whiplash because I felt it was just getting started. I always figured it was you guys schedule that cut the podcast short. Gotta say I don't really understand why Drew has to go. I mean no hate at all and I wish him the best of luck with his channel, but it seems unnecessary for him to leave Fudgemuppet altogether. Considering he's still uploading Elder Scrolls videos on his channel, he obviously still wants to make ES content. He could just continue to appear on this channel (even if less frequently) to scratch his ES itch, and then upload Elden Ring related and other types of content to his channel. Just would've made more sense to keep the band together to me. Idk I'm just sad about this lol. The dynamic you three have is just the best and will be sorely missed.
