Hearing you talk about current popular decor in sweden reminds me of the american upper middle class decor in the 90s. Everything was white or off white and there were these god awful pastel prints on furniture or art pieces and EVERYTHING was trimmed in gold 🤢 Hearing you talk about being nervous that your channel may "die" because of your move makes me sad. Girl, don't underestimate your fellow happy clowns. We will be here eagerly awaiting the return of Angie!!! I think you have built up a very loyal and engaged fanbase that will still be here once your new studio is ready. It may slow your momentum momentarily but I think your channel will keep growing. I really love when you build your own palettes from singles. I know they aren't the most popular video, but maybe once per season as a "this is my vibe right now" kind of thing? Personally I am sad to miss out on the Club Nebula palette, but I made the choice to transition to singles and away from premade palettes so it's my own damn fault. Enjoy your adventure. A tip for starting from scratch on your decor journey, start with big pieces that you like the shape of. For instance a couch can have an awesome shape but doesn't come in a color you like can be recovered later. Same with wood pieces. We bought a solid wood dining set that was stained way too warm for our decor but was perfect otherwise. We sanded and re finished it with are more neutral stain. Pinterest boards are great for inspiration but if you are going for a specific color story always carry swatches of that color when shopping. Have fun and happy holidays.

I redid my living room a few years ago because it was where I spent most of my time and it was brown and dark and was actually making me depressed because It was SO dark. I redid it all in cream and yellow and teal so it was bright and happy and it actually improved my mood when I’m home!

Luckily I prefer the lighter side of decoration (not everything fully white though) because that is definitely a common aesthetic here in Sweden 😅I enjoy Scandinavian design, light and airy rather than dark in general, but I feel like Angie might have an easier time finding variety on the darker side of things in the States 🤗

I'm actually wearing the Lost in Los Angeles today and I wear Passion in Paris a lot, I've actually hit pan on a couple shades in that pallet. I'll probably repurchase Paris and Blueberry Muffin because I use them all the time. Those pallets are actual proof that inexpensive makeup can be just as good and often better than high end.

Just putting it out there that I’ll gladly watch any post-move videos whether you’re unpacking your makeup or doing a GRWM like you’re doing here today. Even if you’re surrounded by boxes while you film and only have natural light. Also makeup is understandably kinda a snooze right now with the end of the year approaching / post consumer holiday spending hangover so seems like if there’s ever a good time it’s now, even if the YT algorithm doesn’t like being defied. I sold all my furniture and most of my decor apart from a few antique/designer pieces passed down to me when I moved cities 5 years ago, I had to move around 300km so I was absolutely not going to go back and forth to fetch stuff. Just moved into a whole house, and while being able to shop for furniture is amazing, it has also been so hard. There has been such a backup for so many things in the US, furniture is one of them. Some things will be 1 week, or 6 months!

A tip for furniture shopping. Unless you're fine with waiting a couple months to get the piece make sure they have it in stock. There's a huge delay in furniture due to the supply chain problems and a lot of places over here can't get you stuff until April.

I always see these intricate looks and feel like because I own alotnof makeup that's what I should be practicing and trying, but you're right they take SO long and one small mistake can mess up a whole look you just spent 40 minutes on or a look doesn't turn out quite right and I get so angry at all the time and energy and money on makeup to hate what I just did and it makes it no longer any fun. I'm glad to hear you say it's not really worth it and makes me want to go back to basics and just enjoy more simple techniques with pretty colors that make me feel happy. ❤
