Hey Allie, Trent, & Leo, I think it's safe to say that you're not alone in the feelings you have, that many people have those feelings about parts of their lives. There's nothing to apologize for. You don't have to give any reasons for not videoing much of the day's events with Troy. It's understandable. Hahahaha, seeing Trent with his long hair made me laugh, I forgot it used to be long. As I was watching I could see how you were both choking back the emotions. You have had amazing times and done so much in PamelaVanderson, but I want you to realize something... If you had never lived the VanLife and travelled in Pamela the way you did, making and posting videos, you wouldn't necessarily have the life you have now. Trent might still be cleaning plumbing lines. But here's the thing... PamelaVanderson made it possible for you to have the life you have now. If it wasn't for the travelling you both did over the last 5 years in Pamela, then you probably wouldn't have a successful KZbin channel with 445,000 subscribers. You most likely wouldn't have the house and had the experience of building the house. You most likely wouldn't have met Bryce and Matt and started Mountain Made Vans, ( Which I have to tell you is a really smart thing to do now, because chances are KZbin probably won't give you the kind of life you'll want in the future). You've talked about owning some investment properties, which has a considerable risk to it. But because of the time you spent travelling and living the VanLife, it has afforded you a future. Yeah it's somewhat sad to see Pamela go to someone else, but hey, maybe Pamela is a good luck charm, and maybe she will be what makes Troy's future better to. PamelaVanderson isn't just memories, she's Legacy. You have both grown soooooo much since the first time I watched you on KZbin. Seeing the clips in this video really was a trip because I remember a lot of those videos as they played. Yeah it's an End of an Era...or is it? You do have that other van in the shop, that grey Mercedes Van, that will hold 4 people. Sounds to me like you might be planning the next era already. Sounds like there's something in the plans that will take some definite time, (9 months, give or take, to be exact, maybe?). Haha. I have a hard time believing you won't have a new van sometime in the next year that will be road ready and have all of the bells and whistles you thought of having in Pamela, but didn't. And you didn't because it wasn't the right time. Now you'll have the opportunity to have a raised van that is good for highway or offroad. A van that will have all the things a family would need to travel for short or long periods of time. A van that you could have to show Leo the van life as he grows in the next few years, and plant the seed in him. All of that and more is possible because of PamelaVanderson. So, it's not the end of an era. It's the beginning of a New Era. Thanks for bringing us all on the journey and inspiring so many of us to follow OUR dreams, whatever they may be. Because of all things you did with Pamela, that's the one thing you didn't realize happened. You inspired many people to live their dreams and chase what they wanted to do in their lives. The proof of that is that you sold both PamelaVanderson 2.0 and the original PamelaVanderson, to 2 people that will carry that legacy on. Further proof is the orders for vans that you have to build at this point. If it wasn't for PamelaVanderson and the channel, you wouldn't be in that situation. You wouldn't be building vans so others could live life with the same freedom to explore. THANK YOU, Lotsa Love for You All, Keep Safe and Always Inspiring, Matt - Toronto, Canada

@@karrieeaton9079 Yes, I'm old, too, 72! But as an educator I spent a lot of time around teenagers, so to me he just looks normal. Heck, I even preferred his long hair. But being in college in 1968 through '72, that was normal for guys, even back then. He's young and exploring who he is at this point. He may totally change his style, or he may decide long hair and earrings are who he wants to be. He's a great kid and people who think hair or jewelry matter, need to remember what matters is character, and the rest is just fluff. And from all appearances right now, Joel's already a great person!

What made your van special, like any sentimental object, isn’t the van itself, but the memories it evokes when you are in and around it. Often those memories are difficult to recall or forgotten without the sentimental object. Thankfully you have tons of video that can and will serve the same purpose and keep those memories alive.

You're audience shares in your sadness. We, too, came along for the ride. ...because of you two, I was able to spend the last 4-months in my own van conversion. ...with my 4 cats. (...and, my van isn't fancy. It's a Ford Econoline 350e with a raised top.) At 56, watching your adventures allowed me to prepare for my own. I've just re-gutted it; to rebuild it how I want. As they say, you have to live in one to really know what works for you. Thanks for sharing Pamela Vanderson's Adventures with us. You will travel again, after/while establishing your roots, as it should be. My parents took my brother and I allover the country in a Volkswagen van, with far less commodities, in the 1960's-80's. Can't wait to see what's next! We're all here for it!❤ Love you guys!!!

I started watching 3 years ago when you first got your motorcycle. I’ve enjoyed every chapter as it’s come. Y’all have come a long way and continue to create content that we want to see 🙂. I have a question-would you have built your house differently or bigger if you’d know what life would be like now? Thanks for sharing your life with us!

At almost a half a million subscribers and getting over 100,000 views on your videos in only a few days is nothing short of miraculous for KZbin. There are so many of us that try to make a channel work, but for whatever reasons, most all of the creators on KZbin never make it. So be proud of what you have done and don't apologize for letting us share with your journeys.

❤ I get it. In 2003 I was a single mom and bought a house that my girls grew up in. Last year we sold that house and my husband and I bought a house right for us. While moving on was good for me, it was sad to leave that house. But you guys... the title... I was afraid that someone had died! I'm glad everyone is well.

I just had to edit my comment after I read Matt Rossey's comment, and he said it perfectly! Show Leo the world, and when Joel isn't in school, he can fly out to meet you . . .So . . . Your next van had better have one of those new lift beds that can sleep 4. 💕

Guys (and gals) love their vehicles, especially when you've had them a long enough time that you consider them partners in your adventures...that you consider them as vital members of your life. Nearly all of us wish we still had that first car we had as teenagers or young adults and that we could keep it in a garage just to look at sometimes since we might not be driving it anymore. They remind us of what we once were and is a physical connection to a sweet memory.

There seems to be a problem with stuck frames, as can be seen at 8:50. Either the camera has an issue or how the codec is handled by premiere could be the problem. It also coul dbe the conversion on googles end but i think that is highly unlikely, as the drone shot directly after has no such issue and appears to be buttery smooth. (kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6XQpKOom7ymjdk stuck frames when watched on chrome 103 with VP9) (stats for nerds: Codecs vp09.00.51.08.01.01.01.01.00 (303) / opus (251)")

@@patrickkayser 🤷‍♀️ no nerd stats for me on this video... I have checked them before, but can't find it here. I watch on a Samsung Galaxy22. So, a phone. I see some people watch on TV and computers too. So seems like a glitch in KZbin or their camera and not glitches with what people are watching on. I know to Trent and Allie this may seem like us complaining, but I really need them to know it's out of concern for their video quality and maybe just a miss by Allies mom brain, it happens. We know they put out quality videos all the time, and glitches/mistakes happen. Hopefully it's an easy fix for them.
