Have a great road trip. 🚨 TRENT, here's a tip.. for happy life.. before you tell Allie no, or be Debbie the downer. Think of this. ( Trent's garage, Trent's rock crawler, Trent's trips to LA. For martial arts, Trent's Golf trips. ) Just a hint... If Allie wants to drive 500 miles the wrong way to the world's largest ball of yarn. Your answer is...Sure Babe, sounds like fun. Love too.

What a great video, so lovely to see you with Eamon and Bec and then celebrating their thanksgiving together that was really special. To see Eamon's enthusiasm over the van and his Dad. Trent being involved in the construction project it was so nice, then seeing Bec and Frankie with you so lovely. It reminded me that you both have been through so much these past few years, grief over loosing Allie's mother, the difficult circumstances around Leo's birth, Allie's post natal depression, then all the house stuff. Eamon and Bec loosing their friend Lee to suicide their grief around that and Bec's cancer and her treatment, then the miracle of Frankie combined with Bec's cancer returning and having Frankie at 33 weeks. So much you have all gone through yet there is always hope and you both have so much love and hope and joy in your lives because you choose to be happy. So admirable and a joy to watch. Great content , it was very heart warming xxx

Allie, I totally agree with your philosophy on traveling with young kids. As you said, travel brings opportunites to create resilency, the spirit of adventure and an adaptive personality. This isn't about Leo and Billy's future ability to remember this trip; it's about what this trip does to them interally, what skills it gives them, who it helps them become.

It’s so easy to remember our own experiences and speak from those emotions, but the challenge in parenting is remembering kids don’t have those influences and trying to not pass our emotions onto them. Trent, you’re doing a lot of work (especially against anxiety). You do an outstanding job receiving Allie’s perspective and absorbing it as a reminder. Good work to both of you!

My husband and I travelled around Europa for 6 years and 4 of those years with 2 kids. After our second child started to walk, it became a little stressful and when our oldest son had to start school, we had to stop. But,- never regretted those years on the road and today our boys are stable grownups with good jobs and their own kids. They still love to travel and experience other cultures and are very happy that their upbringing was maybe a little 'weird'. 😄

So cool that Trent got to help with the shed build for Eamon's brother. We also know he ends up helping Jordan on his tiny house in Vermont. Friends helping friends is such a bonding moment, and it also allows Trent to take part in his number one hobby, even while on vacation. And since they are not his projects there is no stress, which is perfect while on vacation and traveling.

Hello from Ontario, Canada. I guess it’s a dad thing to expect the negative part of doing new things. My husband is the same. Scared we wouldn’t like it. Ali, I am like you, more positive. We travelled with my girls when they were the same age as Leo. They are in their early 20’s now and they often look at our photo albums and talk about what they remember in the younger days. So, no matter how old they start travelling, they will remember and will love to continue travelling when they discover their independence. Thank you for bringing me on your vacation.

Do maids of the mist again, when they can understand the nature and beauty of it as well as its history. And history with the barrel jumpers Ripleys believe it or not, hersey factory, gaming spots and more its great! Theres also a huge bridge over rapids. Lots of nature stuff to do around it look it up! Not just the gimmicky stuff ^-^ Also in the winter they do a beautiful christmas light walk display
