Why you hope that this is an end for 2B and 9S' journey? Is it because you want to move on from them? If so, I understand. Though it might seem that we're not quite done with them, and from looks of it, maybe neither with the Replicant cast

Yeah I do want to move on and have a new cast. But yeah, having them appear like how Emil was in Automata or have them involved in the plot but not playable (like Caim in Drakengard 2) would be okay for me. However, I do understand their popularity and can see why Square wouldn’t want to move away from them so quickly

The concert was amazing! I went to the one in Chicago and had a blast. I kept getting distracted by the wonderful performances of the orchestra, Emi, and J'Nique. Luckily I don't think i missed much if any of the story bits. I hope everyone is able to go into it spoiler free.

SPOILERS The mention of a False bunker and a giant sphere might make me think its related to the Crossover story from FF14. You do traverse an old bunker there, and there is also a Seed of Destruction present which could be the Sphere. But that might just be circumstantial evidence

Black Box's structure is similar to a plant cell. The Black Sphere sounds similar to the Black Flower in DOD3, and 9S's pray is like him making a wish, and then the wish came true....

Automata characters at least deserve a cameo or mention in a new game. If replicants cast can almost all be mentioned and even have emil live to be in Automata present day, then at least 1 character from Automata should survive to the next game. That way both prequels to the new game can be actively in and influencing the new story. A new quest to bring humanity back or save the timeline would be amazing if they made all the games relevant to making that miracle happen.

Yeah this could hint a new story. For example, maybe about the person leaving the “Repent” message, or maybe with 10H. Either way, we all hope for new Nier content!

@@TheBigDerian I should have also said this earlier but i just now realized it, but if you dont know, there is a Nier Automata light novel which includes a range of short stories that expand upon the lore of Nier Automata. One of those short stories is called "A Much Too Silent Sea" which features 10H as the only android overlooking an underwater facility that serves as backup for data stored on the moons server with a bunch of pods. Now spoilers for if you haven't read the story: Even though having been told she was underwater, the twist is that 10H is actually on the moon and that the backup facility is no backup and is actually the real moon server itself. She concludes that if there are no humans on the moon they must have all died out. Upon realizing all this 10H attempts to escape and is terminated by the pods to which it is revealed it is the 46th time she had found out the truth and got terminated for that. Now i dont play Nier reincarnation but im sure this story circles around somehow and its kinda mindblowing how it hasnt been mentioned by anyone else yet for all i know.

@@fiaschampion3379 Yeah, Ive actually caught up with Nier Reincarnation recently and i am convinced that it is essentially the third game in the Nier saga with it possibly being a lead up to a fourth game. But we will have to see with the final chapter releasing soon Regarding the "Repent" message from the concert, it could tie in quite nicely with the themes of nier reincarnation, which both stories are heavily involved with repenting on the sins of the past. And so its possible that the events of Nier Reincarnation will collide right into the middle of what 9s and 2b are doing. And for some heavy spoilers. If you really think about it, as humanity may be extinct, with the data and history of humanity being stored on the moon server which would later make it to earth there is a chance humanity may be resurrected, hence the title being Nier "reincarnation". But then again this is all speculation and I hope to see that with the release of the final chapter we get all our theories and questions proven and answered.

Nice video! Apparently Reincarnation ties into Automata insanely much. Its actually the sequel to NieR Automata. Heavy Spoilers ahead . . . . . . . . . . . . . Act 1 of Reincarnation focuses on how the server on the moon has all the data of humanity and it survived post Automata. The final battle was against a Queen Beast as the Gods of Drakengard are now trying to corrupt and destroy what remains of humanity. Act 2 of Reincarnation focuses on events to save the remaining data for humanity as a single android manages to survive by not becoming corrupted and is seeking aid from the data of the humans scattered around the Earth and the Moon in data servers and the Queen beast is not done yet... Reincarnation the story is insanely vague especially how it ties into with Automata but as you get to Act 2, a lot is revealed and a lot of questions answered as the game actually starts to open up and tell you a lot more.

Hello! I highly recommend completing Automata and viewing all major endings A, B, C, D, and E as well as its 1st epilogue called “Farewell”. It would be nice to know Replicant’s story as well, but it’s references in the concert are minimal and not major parts of the concert’s overall story.

I mean isn't she mentioned in the epilogue story as being up, out, and about, and otherwise helping the pods while 9S is still asleep? She probably just went back to being a nomad/emulating the bits of Kaine that make up the basest parts of her after 2B and 9S woke up. It's entirely possible she just wandered the earth till she broke down and passed away, if she even did. Given how Reincarnation ended, I feel it's entirely possible she may have eventually found her way to the kingdom of night or something.

I know this comment is way after the posting of this video, but im trying to buy tickets to their new event and i want to make sure i get a meet and greet with yoko taro. The ticket im looking at says “meet and greet with the conductor” but does that mean yoko taro as well? And also despite the ticket saying that, theres an info tab that says general admission only. I believe the meet & greet tickets did include meeting the conductor, Emi Evans, Ja’nique Nichole, Keeichi Okabe, and Yoko Taro. Personally I didn’t get a chance to do the meet & greets (literally sold out seconds tickets were available). However, if you’re planning on going to the concert in Washington DC, Taro tweeted out saying he wouldn’t be attending that one.

Spoilers are fun!! If a person doesn't know what is the spoiler or where is the spoiler then it is not a spoiler. Furthermore people who are on KZbin who are typing in videos with particular words are people who know what they are getting themselves into and if they are following content creators they should never watch a video whose title is already revealing spoils. Even then spoilers are not that big of a deal as it does not really ruin the fun. You can still experience the fun because people seeing spoils don't understand what they are watching. Hence nothing is really spoiled.

I have to disagree about the online postings. At least once the year comes to a close since the tour will be over then. I was at that first concer in LA and what i wouldnt give to watch the story again and hear the music and crowd again. I cant go to another unless they come back to cali though.
