Teaching for 10 years in Kayenta in the 90's allowed for many excursions into southern Utah, many of them on Cedar Mesa exploring the vast canyons there, and my trips to Bluff for the San Juan River reminds me of those days as I gaze upon the mesa from the highway next to Valley of the Gods.
