I don’t think so. Farfa is annoying and “cocky” you can see the friction between him and the other commentators. From him trying to get people canceled, to him wanting to be sarcastic then literal when someone else is. I’m not prejudice or racist. ( his reasoning for any negative opinion about him) but to each their own. I definitely knew it eventually would happen, but didn’t call it, so I guess it doesn’t even matter.

However, farfa never came out as cocky or antagonistic towards other commentators, I would say the exact opposite in fact. To me, they had great chemistry and felt like friends talking unlike the NA streams where despite Jerome being awesome it feels there is a bit of awkwardness in the air as if presenting an exercise together with your teacher. I personally preferred his older content and persona a lot more compared to the memes etc but this is an entirely different topic. I just gave my point of view about the EU YCS streams

Sometimes it feels like konami just does not want to kill yugioh by slowly being worse and worse towards its players. Doing the worst decisions, bad advertising, not communicating with players, not making game more accessible, moving away from content creators. It just feels like they want to focus on that dragon collection game because its a gacha that brings in a ton of money... Even that NA Tournament that they decided not to even stream, but chose to do the written coverage. Its just sad....

The MGS3 remake isn't even out yet. What happened was that Konami and Bloober Team dropped the Silent Hill 2 remake and people are eating it up, which as a fan of the games boggles my mind. There's quite a few things this remake does wrong, but I guess its good enough and the modern control scheme makes it easy for newcomers to jump into the series. Its overall a net positive I suppose. A lot of my issues come down to the the game being too easy, the way James handles during combat (in that he feels too agile for someone who has basically no combat experience), and the voice acting feeling subpar and not at all "dream-like" during key moments (which in the context of Silent Hill 2 is pretty damning). Overall though, its likely that the success of the remake will push Konami to start making more video games again. There's apparently a remake for Silent Hill 3 already in the works, which is a game that actually needs the remake treatment (much like Silent Hill 1). I wouldn't mind actually if they were willing to change and update that game's story. There was a lot of themes relating to womanhood that weren't really explored a whole lot in the original game, and if done right, it could easily elevate the game to the same level as Silent Hill 2. Like, Silent Hill is easily at its best when its telling incredibly personal stories, and the evil cult baggage from the first game held Silent Hill 3 back from being something special.

this is a very general statement, take it with a cube of salt, but it always feels like a fair number of Japanese companies (in the hobby space) are less human than Western ones. For a company like Wizards of the Coast, we know the people that work on the cards, we know the artists... at least with Western companies, even when they are absolute garbage, there is at least something players can maybe research or, with something like Mark Rosewater's game design articles, learn from move over to Konami... it's all lifeless. We don't know anyone. The artists aren't celebrated for their work. There is zero thoughts or ideas shared about the game and its mechanics. It all feels out of touch, barebones and very inhuman--almost like the company is being run by a robot
