I was not expecting Rosalina's Ice World, but I'll take it because it's one of my favorite MK7 nitros. I honestly thought they were done with 3DS tracks. Also, I knew we'd end with SNES BC3 and Wii Rainbow Road in the Blue Shell Cup. I wasn't expecting DK Mountain. I was honestly expecting Dino Dino Jungle instead. DK Mountain is still great, though. I wasn't expecting Piranha Plant Cove. I was honestly expecting Piranha Plant Pipeline because Pipeline is newer. I had a feeling Madrid Drive and Rome Avanti were going both to be there. Pauline and Peachette have hot biker suits, just like I thought they would.

I would've preferred Shy Guy Bazaar over Rosalina's Ice World but this is bound to be the best looking and sounding version of it. Happy to see DK Mountain and SNES BC 3. Not just for another BC, but because a SNES BC is *finally* featured in a retro. It was always GBA until now. Even in Tour; even the RMX courses were based off GBA. Yes Super Circuit is great but we needed some SNES representation.

i don't really think Shy Guy Bazaar would really be fitting for the final wave, especially not final cup. Rosalina's Ice World is more fitting. although, i would have taken Shy Guy Bazaar over Toad circuit any day.

Piranha Plant Pipeway is from 3DS and has always been in 8

@@yaryoo Yes correct, Pipeway is a MK7 track in base 8 but in July/August this year in Mario Kart Tour they released Piranha Plant Pipeline in the Pipe Tour. Pipeway is a 7 track, Pipeline is a Tour track, but I do understand your confusion as non tour players wouldn’t know about that track which is now exclusive to tour due to not being in wave 5 or 6

We all know he hates Rosalina (I even mentioned it at the start of my video "Ranting About Mario Kart Tour"), but he might have a different opinion about the track. I don't know what his favorite Rainbow Road is, but if it's Wii, his opinion may change when someone tells him that part of the music borrows from Good Egg Galaxy (speaking of Wii Rainbow Road though, Sonic fans nostalgic for Mario Kart Wii may notice two things: a) the end of the song sounds very similar to the end of Dimension Heist, and b) the part of Bowser's Castle that's meant to be a slowed down version of Maple Treeway's music sounds very similar to part of Built to Rule)

My opinions on this wave: Cant wait to se online filled with Funky Kong 😂🔥 I'm so glad that we FINALLY have another BC!! And the SNES BC as well!! This looks like its gonna be very fun to drive. Piranha Plant Cove honestly looks very very interesting, plus the Madrid and Rome tracks look very cool too! Rosalina's Ice World I did NOT expect at all. This was a complete shock for me honestly, but I'm glad it's here honestly. I really like it! I genuinely freaking missed DK Mountain so much, sadly we can't take the masive cut 😔 But honestly, the best track in the entire DLC HAS to be Wii Rainbow Road. I immediately screamed the moment I heard the song. AND they kept it the same. This was such a nostalgic blast :')

I can’t believe it I’m so excited for Wave 6 I can’t wait to play as my boy Funky Kong and play all of these tracks but okay they did not show us the character select screen because I’m confused about it because if they think about adding a new colum then it would be cool seeing Kirby because I know Kirby has his own racing game which is Kirby’s Air Ride but it would be cute seeing him as a playable character in Mario Kart and also having his own Warp Star Kart and having his own track based on Dreamland just like what they did with Zelda, F-Zero, and Animal Crossing so Nintendo I hope you guys get Kirby in the roster if not this one then hopefully in the next Mario Kart Game I hope.

Biggest mixed bag of a wave yet for me, on the one hand, PIRANHA PLANT COVE, favourite track in the franchise personally. Rome and Madrid were guaranteed, Rome being kinda eh and Madrid being pretty good. SNES BC3 looks amazing, and Daisy Circuit is an underrated banger. On the other, DK Mountain and Wiibow Road. And Ice World, why Ice World when Shy Guy Bazaar, 3DS Bowser's Castle and Daisy Hills are RIGHT THERE. If I had to make substitutions: Dry Dry Ruins over Rainbow Road, Dino Dino Jungle over DK Mountain and 3DS Bowser's Castle over Ice World, otherwise, pretty damn good.
