This is why they should have implemented trading into the game instead. Other games have done this too, so that way you can buy a certain rare cosmetic from another person, Epic games takes some of the profit and nobody can get scammed. I'm surprised this hasn't been a thing implemented because they would get profit too as its within their own game.

I think the only way to stop account selling and scams is if epic implemented a skin market. Kinda like what csgo has and r6 recently implemented this to. I’m actually surprised that epic hasn’t done this yet. OG skins are cool and all but sometimes you want other skins aswell for example the Spiderman skin from the battle pass. As of now there is no way of getting that skin but if they had a market somebody can put that skin up for sale and we can buy it. The item shop is honestly a outdated system and everybody today complains about it fortnite needs a new market system

All of these crackdowns are mainly because Disney owns a percentage of Fortnite, once Disney buys them out (they will) it'll be more strict and expensive, notice how hard it is too level up on this season and how vbucks have gone up
