The End Of The Season - What upgrades will I be doing over winter to my TVR?

With the en of the season here I have stripped down the engine ready for some much needed TLC.
My next area to target is the seat and pedals making it more confirtable to drive

I'm running the same Cobra Monoco Pro seat in my Vixen with std pedal box. As you say tight fit but otherwise OK seat. On MGB runners but no front cage to worry about. However I lowered the drivers floor by 1.5" to stop helmet touching the roof which was very irritating on track (I'm 5'11"). That not only fixed the height issue but also tilted the seat back slightly which I found much more comfortable. It was a simple mod but made a big improvement.

I’m the same height but I’ve bolted my seat directly to the floor to try and keep it down. Cutting the floor could be an option though. 👍

No idea how you’ve coped so far with that seat angle and the position of the pedals! Seats and pedals?? Zzzzzzzz….. But it’s the details that make the difference. Look forward to your next video.

Are you going to go Tillet for a smaller seat? Be interesting to see how your pedal's go, certainly less room in that footwell than my Tasmin!

The seat is similar to a tillet but much cheaper. I’ll reveal all in my next video! The pedal box will be interesting 🤔

​@@TomkitekGriffith racecar owner here. Concerning the pedal box: Nigel Reuben introduced an adjustable pedal box for his fia griffs and granturas this year which may be worth a look

What kind of power/torgue do you think it will or does make

So our regulations are strict on what you can do with the engine. Mainly around the carbs being factory specification which usually restricts us. Hopefully in the region of 150-155 bhp 🤣
