For Merg Nice video, i recommend you play another route that has a new boss, the "Dark Neutral", just reset the save (since it's not a TRUE Reset, flowey, i mean, starly will remember the genocide), and this is where things gets interasting, oh, and don't forget to pratically redo genocide

Spoilers for secret genocide route to blame all kills on Asriel if anyone is curious...... okay so there is alternative genocide route when we can blame all the kills on Asriel, anytime when we are seperated from him, we need to stay pacifist, specially when we are with monster kid - then he can vouch for us when talking with asgore. we attack and do genocide when we are with asriel again. the moments when we are alone or with monster kid lets us save some monsters which will 1. save the generator from exploding and 2. asgore will not destroy the ship at the end: because Frisk is on ship, he will deactivate self-destruct protocol

I just realized something, the one Gerson talks about when she says that the person who thinks differently isnt Alphys. The line she says made me think it was her but i realized there was only one person who took a different approach, Asgore. Unlike everyone else he didn't fight them and just die but he took the smart approach and made the ship explode. He was the only one who actually succeeded.

Regarding slowdown in 37:22, that was Asriel's Nocturne spell that raised your focus, slowing the game down and making it easier to read attacks and dodge. Also, I don't think saving on the shuttle actually did any good for Frisk nor Asriel, since that save point was destroyed by Asgore(at least thats what I assume). Anyways good game, partner =)

Yeah Frisk & Asriel pretty much got stuck in a death loop in the end. They saved on the ship which Asgore rigged to explode, it's why he was so calm & smug at the end.

Ending spoilers With them saving after leaving the outpost and their escape route set to explode, even with the power of determination, saving, and loading, they could not escape death. They would always load back to right before death, as they overwrote their one and only save file, and will have no choice but to reset. Also, with there's only one save file in Undertale makes me wonder if there's going to be lore for us having three in Deltarune. (unrelated but I'm surprised that many people thought that you were ending your KZbin career, the thought didn't cross my mind when receiving the notification- In fact, I knew that you were finishing Outertale, given you were already a decent way through, and with the two souls in the thumbnail being red and white, the color of the soul of the "protagonists.")

Idk if the loox 22/24 exp trick works in outertale, but you could try going for a max exp route. You can reach lv 7 in the ruins pre-toriel by grinding looxes. Itd be pretty hard to grind the highest exp monsters in the next areas because you cant flee, but if you save before each fight and reload often, you might pull it off.

This ending is so creative, you're doomed to eternal self destruct with each attempt to continue with that save, and the only way to leave this purgatory is through a reset, that'll undo all the deaths aswell as bring the outpost back to shape. Asgore had it all under control, he knew he couldn't save his kingdom, so he's forcing you to restore it from the damage you caused.

Hey Merg. If you still remember playing Storyshift Facing Demons. You gotta play it again if you still have the save file of the genocide ending. There's other endings for you to get and the True Ending is still out there. It's not as hard as the Genocide Ending itself and it's very satisfying to save Chara rather than kill her again
