I was lucky to know Russ Sanders the singer. The lead is done on a bass giving it it's gritty sound. He is no longer with us and greatly missed.

Awesome info. Would love to know more about Russ Sanders's life. He seemed very ahead of his time. Growing up making music and throwing shows in LA, the pioneer rockers like The Endd were always huge inspirations to us.

I love that simple little guitar solo in this, so simple yet so ingenius. I love this song.

The Sanbau, check out the Renowns and their songs, My Mind's Made Up and Wild One. Wild One was in the top forty and is a great Rockabilly styled song.

I never heard of this band before. I like their sound. I hear some "Rolling Stones" influence in there. Don't know who influenced whom here. I'm checking out more of their music. Thanks for posting.

I found a compilation CD a while back, "Mayhem & Psychosis (vol2)" - unfortunately no liner notes but a truly outstanding track by this band titled "Come On Into My Mind". I think (though even this is uncertain) the label's called Laroche, cat no.L0021CD

I have a couple of copies of Project Blue by the Endd. i don't know why it didn't chart. I live it and it's so much better than that of theBanshees imhp.

This is a great track , and " Of Its Time " ...no less a good track for that. Its NOT " Ahead of Its Time " !!! Lots of late '70's/early '80's Bands tried to sound like the Sonics / Prunes Etc.....NO - ONe is " Ahead of their Time " ! If You make any type of music..whenever..Its for all the others..to catch up...that's all ; Usually..they take about 20 years to do so .
