I hope there's gonna be some kind of prequel of this, it was fun but kinda sad that it's over now.

I don't think it was groundhogs day, there is no 'loop', I think the last scene was just told in anachronic order, all the scenes in the tunnel were the same scene and the meetings with Andrew Kurt and Ian were 'flashbacks'. As far as Fishers motivations, he is a sympathetic villain; he was warped by years of isolation into a twisted and vengeful person, someone who committed evil acts but not someone who was out to take over the world. He didn't act out against Spencer and the gang because he genuinely didn't want to kill his grandson if possible. The reason he originally strangled him was because he was blindsided with a rock. He struck me as someone who wanted to live, but didn't really not want to die, thus giving the group plenty of chances to 'win'. If he really wanted them dead, they'd be dead. As far as the funky stuff, it probably gonna be worse for a bit because of Fisher killing himself will send ripples. Also, as far as Fisher's 'ability', it wasn't groundhog day, it was the ability to know which world would take precedence, thus allowing him to make changes from the dominant world that the non dominant world would have no defense against. The two main questions I had at the end were 1. what was the actual secret to world dominance that Fisher knew, and 2. if Kurt was going to be alright, since it heavily implied that he had given himself some pretty bad brain damage.

I'll be waiting for an epilogue with you (copium prime).
@storytimewiththecrimsondm13185 күн бұрын
ok that is pretty much exactly what I thought would happen. the final 'chapter' is a series of flash backs to like a day or two before the meeting. which is really confusing for this but the final person Fisher had to end, the only one he was ever going to end for all his sins, was himself tbh, the creator probably had no idea how Fisher controlled the world, but it seems pretty clear that once Fisher realized he could not go back in time, that he was going to try and explain things to his grandson before finishing the last person on his death note, aka himself. Its a relatively straight forward concept, but a good one. I just need an epilogue where Spencer and Ian hook up, this game is half romance, and I feel bad that the romance didn't really get a solid ending. it feels like the creator... kina forgot that part.

Honestly your theory makes sense
@MasterBalmung16 күн бұрын
My theory is that Fisher is a version of Spencer. But Fisher is the Spencer that continued his obsession with the gate and thus keeps messing with it. While Spencer is a version of himself that doesn't care for it anymore. Spencer started out with curiosity over the gate, and only messed with it after he felt it was necessary, but lost interest after seeing how volatile and dangerous it really is. Fisher is old because his obsession continued, while Spencer not caring for the gate was an end that didn't continue. Fisher offing himself was finally an end to Spencer's obsession over the gate. That's why I feel it was so important at the end, when Fisher asked Spencer if he wanted to know about the gate, and Spencer said no, he doesn't care at all.
@MasterBalmung16 күн бұрын
I think maybe the ending is a fresh start with Spencer now choosing not to mess with the gate in the first place.
@MasterBalmung16 күн бұрын
You notice that Fisher offed himself, yet we see the loop happen again even though Spencer wasn't offed that time. I feel that that proves Fisher is a version of Spencer.
@MasterBalmung15 күн бұрын
That was the first time Fisher was offed. This also explains why the other Spencer (I forgot the name of the other one) tried to off him. Because he figured it out, that Fisher was the version of him that was obsessed with the gate and the reason why everything was so messed up due to Fisher continuing to experiment with the gate so much. At least the part causing the loop because Fisher has a specific goal he was trying to accomplish. Stopping him doesn't solve any future problems the government will do with the gate though.

I can't really make sense of the timeline difference if Fisher is an alternate Spencer But, it seems likely, given that Spencer has a dream / flashes of memories back to like 40 years ago If I had to make a theory, I think there might be a World C, and that's where Fisher comes from I think there just happens to be an extremely large desync, and in that case Fisher's dad would be the same person as Spencer's dad, just in a different world Having a 3rd world could also leave more room for Fisher's statement that he merged with himself. Though I'm not exactly sure the logistics of that. But if Fisher is Spencer, more than 2 worlds would be needed imo. So, maybe 4 worlds, if this Fisher is two Spencers. Maybe Fisher knows less than he thinks, and there's more worlds than 2. If they're largely identical, who's to say Fisher knows about all of them?

Spencer never got shot

the fades to white were flashbacks to before Spencer went into the bunker

I think I understood what happened, there was never a "time loop" in the literal sense and the "Spencer is Fisher" thing the story has been hinting at is just a giant red herring. Fisher never could go back in time, he was only able to change the past from the future by erasing people from history, hoping that by doing so he will trigger a butterfly effect and somehow prevent himself from being stuck in world B for 40 years. That never worked and only ended up causing all the accidents back in 2007. Fisher's former collages wanted to stop him from fucking everything up but couldn't pinpoint his location until Spencer used Fisher's own lure to get him alone in the bunker (very sweet irony btw). The reason why he didn't kill Kurt Andrew and Ian but was willing to kill Spencer I still don't really get, sure Spencer didn't have a mirror but that didn't stop him from killing the first Spencer, maybe he just thought that getting rid of him was enough and didn't want to go through all the trouble of covering up three more deaths? Also another thing I don't get is what is happening with Kurt, was Fisher just bullshitting when he said there were two Kurts In the same world? but why? And if he wasn't then dose that mean there are just... two Kurts running around in one world? And if he was then how did Kurt swap places in the other world? There was no spencer in the "main" world at the time and I don't see why people would be forgetting him in the main world so, why would he decide to just go through the gate for no good reason? I appreciate the writer respecting the reader's intelligence and leavening some things ambiguous to the very end but it just feels like he abandoned this plotline so as to not let the story drag to much after the climax which is a real shame for such an interesting idea. Anyways, I wanna thank you for playing rando furry visual novels since without you I would have never got to witness this amazing story cause, personally, I couldn't be bothered to go through all the rough just to find this genuine diamond lmao.

I think you're confused on the looping aspects. Two worlds A and B exists, whichever dominated that day will override the memories of the other world. Since spencer's mirror died, he only lives on 1 world instead of 2. So all information (post murder) is retained and funneled through him, which means nothing for his actions if the world he's moving in is the world that isn't dominating for that day. Thus Spencer was never looping (on the present part for Ian) his actions was just being dominated by a world where in he wasn't there to give it to Ian. It's better to realize that moving through the tunnels is where it started (Hence why when Fisher and Group B was stuck on World B, all they did for 40 years remained moot since World A Dominated for 40 years)

Time never resets in the story. If it did, Fisher would have returned to a time where he could live as a husband and a father. Also when he said "erasing/rewriting someone from history" it's probably because when you die at the gate (like you and your mirror) your past is being fixed to fit a narrative where you cease to exist in the present. Also 9:22 is the time when the domination of the Worlds A/B occurs, rewriting everything in the non-dominating world.
@FauxR8 күн бұрын
1.The discovery of the Gate and the mirror world. (Including the domination phenomena) 2. The Group B being stuck for 40 years. (Fisher living 40 years where all he does is being rewritten by a world where he didn't exists) 3. Group B's freedom (Fisher took back his Agency and tried to get back with Michael only to get cutoff and kill the members of Administration) presumably rewriting their past (the people he killed). 4. Michael tries to stop Fisher (ends up dying and their past rewritten by Fisher) 5. Fisher gives Spencer a scholarship, so that the former can meet his grandson (and presumably teach Spencer how to use the GLD) 6. Spencer spends days going in and out the Bomb Shelter learning about it, (while also hanging out with some people and Fisher) 7. Ian shows Spencer the forum post which reminded the latter of his dad (prompting Spencer to kill Fisher - which ended badly) 8. Ian (and probably Kurt) sees Spencer's body only to find the next day that Spencer is alive (because Kurt and Spencer crossed over though the Bomb Shelter) (from a nondominating world to the dominating world) 9. The discovery of the body, then a few days go by (and some nude running). Until the day comes wherein Spencer finds the idea to open the Bomb Shelter with Ian and Todd. Stopped by Fisher and tossed to the other World. 10. Spencer gets stuck in a nondominating world where every day his conversation will be reset at 9:22, where everyone's memory will be overwritten by the other world (which doesn't have a Spencer) 11. Spencer speaks to kurt where they did a mad dash through the bunker and escape the other world where in it's dominating and people remember their interactions with Spencer (and apparently there are 2 Kurts in the same World) (also KurtxAndrew) 12. Spencer tries to understand what made his mirror want to stop/kill Fisher (before his inevitable meeting with Fisher), and he finds out about his dad trying to stop Fisher and his dad getting overwritten in history. 13. Spencer meets Andrew and Kurt. Then Meets Ian after a good night's sleep, whom gave him the idea of contacting the people who is angry at Fisher as well. 14. Fisher unaliveshimself after telling Spencer the exact same thing the former said to Michael, and receiving the same answer. "I couldn't care less".
