I have yet to see "Sonic 3", confirmations for the fourth film for the moment are rather limited, apart from the fact that the setting will not be planet Earth in the next film, but much more imaginative settings, nothing is really known about the plot of the next fourth film. And to think that the fourth Sonic film had already entered development even before the third film was released in theaters.

Maybe Amy will sacrifice herself to destroy Metal Sonic... And then, when Super Sonic confesses... "I love you, Amy..." then kisses her, the positive energy of the Chaos Emeralds brings Amy back to life. And she will say "I love you too, Sonic...!" Like at the end of Beauty and the Beast (most notably the 1991 version).
