I'm not sure what role it would fit, the charge delay makes it a poor shark weapon and the special doesn't help with entry, so I don't think so.

if only nintendo could've buffed Jet so jet weapon could've competed for the entry spam option and beat neo splash comps for example (see ballpoint having the best special to get in but at the same time being challenged by pencil/any charger comps, making a new strategy to make a comp that works around ballpoint weakness since my point is made in a world where Jet is worth to farm, also give bp the old strafe speed so it can play like a midlinish role and move fast behind corners to not be that hard of a matchup playing against chargers)

I realized something from this video series and how comps are being built. I'm not sure if I'm reading into this wrong, but given how many viable top level comps there are, I'm curious if something akin to Splatoon 2's RPS meta will develop from this
