Dr Rachel is endocannabinologist. Cbd helps my elderly father (80 years old) with anxiety,depression,body aches, sleep, appetite, and best of all mood. Also, I’ve starting taking 30 mg/ day. I train Brazilian jiu Jitsu. My body recovers at a better rate. My day goes on with much more simplicity. It helps physically and mentally. It’s the real deal. I’m so glad I introduce it to my father.

Omgosh. "Anandamide is responsible for the runner's high." Wow, I was a straight laced kid in high school. Didn't drink or smoke weed. However, I ran track and cross country all four years. I loved going on long runs with my friends and solo. I experienced the runner's high many many times. A sense of peace, well being, and one with the universe. It took me until age 48 to activate this system again with natural medicine. Thanks for the Ted Talk. You are a life saver.

I have had some chronic pain and illnesses for much of my life. I can say that I personally smoked a lot of weed in my younger years, but gave it up thinking it harmful. Recently after some health challenges, and living in a recreational legal state, I decided to give it a go. I can tell you without doubt that my body had started to repair itself, and that I feel a distinct energy flow in my body that has been absent for so long I didn’t realize it was missing. If you’re curious, I say it’s worth the experiment!

So sorry that you will be bound by the FDA and AMA and therefore will be killing people with other forms of approved medicine lol. If you want to fix the world… being a medical doctor is the wrong way. Especially if you only believe in what university teaches you… the real power of medicine is in what they aren’t teaching yet in med school. World’s oldest medicine.
@Thomas-ic4gk Жыл бұрын
And if we are waiting on studies to confirm individual actions as curative treatment… it will be probably 20-30 more years of mass cancer deaths until they finally admit we have had the cure the whole time and we do not need synthetic cannabinoids like HU211, HU210, THC - Hemisuccinate to cure illnesses like cancer.

I watched this particular presentation years ago. What surprises me is that it only has 409 comments to this date. Thank you for an amazing presentation. Your attempt to spread the word on the ECS is the thing to do. With the cost of health care on the rise and becoming less and less obtainable for the average person, something has to give. When more people choose self love over drugs and fast food, Hopefully, they will spread this information. I pray it goes viral!

"...We've flagged this talk for falling outside TEDx's content guidelines..." So you can't talk about important subjects that have the potential to help suffering people? Oh you can, as long as it's not cannabis. All the Ted talks about cannabis etc. are being almost completely censored/supressed. They get around 90% less views than other videos. Not sure if that's fair if the potential for helping people is as big as stated in this video. Wtf Ted?

We have been educating our customers in our stores all about phytocannabinoids and endocannabinoids. We've found that our shops gain far more popularity with customers because all of our staff is required to learn from people like Dr. Rachel Knox. If you ever shop for Cannabis products (we're in NC and sell what is legal here and ship in USA), be sure to ask questions to make sure the person helping has some depth of knowledge beyond "yeah, it's got THC and some other stuff in it."
