The intro segment from 0:00 to 0:31 is actually incredible. The rest of the mix is fantastic too for sure, especially the guitar solo, but that intro segment is really nice ambient backing noise. I'd kill for just an extended version of the first 30 seconds.

Nice of you to point that one out since I also love the way that intro sounds. When I was working on this I wasted a lot of time playing the intro part over and over because it sort of transports me to another realm. So you propose a really cool idea: a dedicated mix of just this intro part. This is now on my to-do list. Thanks!

Greetings. Hearing a modern remix of the songs that play during JC's escape from UNATCO is a pleasure. The drums and the guitar solo really make those songs sound more emotional. Really gives the impression that JC's last day in UNATCO could mean his literal last day if he doesn't leave without a fight. Of course, the other tracks sound more somber so that the player would feel emotional about leaving the agency that JC would have wanted to call home. The silver lining is that JC still has some friends in UNATCO who are still loyal to him and Paul, of course.

Coincidentally I was at this point in the game during my current playthrough when your message popped up and I agree it's a unique experience for a video game to kill and/or say goodbye to all of your former comrades. @@VintageModernRemixes Poor Miguel. He actually perished in the video. Worry not. I, too, let him die by mistake until I learned that I had to figuratively hold his hand and keep him out of harm's way until he and I reached UNATCO's landing pad. If the game didn't make so many cuts, perhaps there would have been more scenes with Miguel.

@@tonyc.0451 Hah I forgot Miguel dies in the video. It is definitely heartbreaking to see him take a tumble, but of course I was playing for the sake of filming and not an honest playthrough. I agree we needed more Miguel!

Good idea actually, I am doing the same thing with my UNATCO mix where I am pulling out the conversation theme and releasing that on its own. I will do the same for Enemy Within soon!
