Todrick is the most creative beast out there!! He's definitely not for everyone, but no one can deny the massive talent he brings to the table every time! Please check out his 4 The Greatest Showman video, or any other of his 4 of videos.

Glad you reacted to one of Todrick's original song. His themed mash ups are always a blast but its his original stuff thats the truely great stuff. As far as the pink and black characters that creeped you out, this is the last song on his "Straight Outta Oz" visual album. One of the themes running through it is the tension between his conservative christian childhood and his artistic gay self. Smooching together two dissimilar characters to make one in the last song on the album looks like resolution to me.

I can’t remember how many times I’ve watched this video. It never gets old! Ran into Todrick on the street in NYC once, as you do; we were both waiting for Bette Midler to exit the stage door of Hello, Dolly!, I was in the process of saying hi to him when he was suddenly mobbed by teenaged girls and I was pushed the hell outta there. Went to see Waitress on Broadway the next year, and who was filling in for a guy who was in the hospital? Todrick. And he was good. Colleen Whatsername (Miranda Sings from KZbin) was in the show, and once again there was a screeching roar of teenaged girls when she came onstage. Anyway. There it is.

You should just go ahead and watch the whole of the deluxe version of the Straight Outta Oz visual album. Watch them in order and the songs kinda tell his life story while also making references to the events of the Wizard of Oz movie. Some of it is more bangers like this one, some songs are funny, some are emotional... A great journey. Even if you don't react to it, I recommend watching it that way... And if you enjoy that then his second visual album, Forbidden, is a great watch too. Might not all be for you, but I reckon that you'll have a great time.
