I had the opportunity to see this show live this past October, if it plays near you, going live is other worldly, even with the traveling broadway cast! I absolutely loved it!

Jase, Ty for featuring Piet (Pete). He’s amazing and self funds everything. His latest stuff are originals, hes had bad raps from Dimash fans (Dimash and Pete respect each other though) if you want to see him do the whistle and is speaking voice look at version 2 of Akin ka na lang. if you can review anymore of his songs, we all want to help him to get his music out there. Thanks again, loved your reaction ! ❤btw he’s from Austria. Latest song For my Hero.

Here Tyr is singing a traditional Scandinavian Folk song in Danish albeit with a strong Faroese accent. The song,- though depicting events taking place in Norway exists in all three Scandinavian languages. The Scandinavian languages + Icelandic and Faroese are all basically the same language developed from Old Norse ( the language spoken during the Vikingr times) but a thousand years of variations on a dialect continuum have turned the common tongue ( Danska Tungu) into three (actually five) distinct languages. The three Scandinavian languages of Danish, Swedish and Norwegian are so similar that ANY Scandinavian,- with a little bit of effort,- should be able to read, listen to and at least understand any of the three. They can always speak their own and expect other fellow Scandinavians to understand them.

T-Pain himself has said he used auto tune the way it was never meant to be used, specifically to be different. Unfortunately he inspired a lot of people to do the same who had no idea what they were doing.

I’m here in Sept. 2024!! They have to be in my opinion the best acapella group I’ve ever ever heard!! Scott and Avi both can do bass and I’m really sad that Avi left the group awhile back!? They covered that position real quick and he’s astronomical!!❤❤❤

Marc Martel was not vocally trained and didn’t listen to Queen while growing up. This video was shot in one session…that takes talent, too. Find “Don’t Stop Me Now”, “Find Me Somebody to Love” and the cover “Unchained Melody” will blow your socks off with his amazing vocals! You younger generation kids have been hiding under rocks (or rap-crap) too long. There is greater music talent out there if you’d just listen to it.

Don McLean has previously said in interviews that he was introduced to Al's version of the song by his kids. He'd previously given permission for Al to parody the song, but hadn't really thought about it after that, so he was shocked (and more than a little pleased) that Al's version was virtually a syllable-matching rendition to the original. He also then went on to say that he likes the song so much that he has occasionally found himself starting to sing Al's version when he's onstage performing "American Pie" in concerts.

My favorite song is Quiet Uptown. Lin gets a lot of heat for his voice. But man can he pack the emotion into it when he wants to. Also, knowing the background of that song and why it means a lot to the cast makes it special in another way. The choreographer lost his son while they were in the process of getting to show running. They recorded this song and gave it to him and his wife. It always makes the original cast emotional because of that as well. Lin is one of my writing heroes. I'm a huge history buff and love the American Revolution time period in general. I like 1776 (set around the same time) for the nostalgia of the topic for me, but even as a musical lover I can admit it's not the best. What Lin did here was so unique. Because of that, I saw people fall in love with musicals. Fall in love with history, and fall in love with rap who had never liked them before. I wrote to Lin during the time he was in the show and told him how much the show had meant to me and how much hope it gave me in a time of my life when hope was hard to find. I never expected to get a note back from him. But I did. It is framed. Something that I will always look to to keep me going on my path to my dream. There's so much hype about this show, but it really deserves it. So glad you loved it. And so glad you are open to more musicals. There are some great ones out there.
