“There is no such thing as a stupid question” Me as an enfp: I hate when people ask stupid questions
@MoPoppins3 жыл бұрын
An INTJ asks: 1) Is it because the answer is “obvious,” at least to you? 2) What do you do when YOU have a “stupid” question? Do you ask it because you really want/need to know the answer, or do you keep it inside out of embarrassment, knowing that derision is possible/imminent? 🤔 Thanks in advance to anyone who responds! 🤙
@barabasztrzynasty17043 жыл бұрын
@@MoPoppins Might be a late answer but whatever. As an ENFP i can answer: 1: We may not like stupid questions because we consider everything we do then reconsider, then think about it deeply, then look at it from other perspective and we already had a whole conversation with ourselves that explains every aspect of something and someone just asking it so shallowly seems little ignorant mainly because it's for us super obvious. Then we get little annoyed because we have to explain it, so we usually do it with our deep and little quirky way and thus we might seem a little weird and intense (we know it - that's the main reason of annoyance but some of us really love it. Most likely those with more extroverted side - like me and enjoy the silence of amusement about a thing they never thought about .) 2: As for myself i ask every question i can and usually do it in details so i can understand why i can't understand something and the subject LOL. There is also a skill that we naturally have, which is being present and actually focusing on someone, when he tells us a thing we were curious about. So if I ask a question and someone answers, I try to get as much informations as i can and listen respectfully. People love it. ENFPs love to share their knowledge and learn new things (although they aren't usually something they should be doing to make a living, most likely just to feed our hungry of informations brains). I love to confront people with things i learnt and discuss about deeper meaning of subjects. English is not my first language but i tried to express how i see it as well as i could :)

adhd is more than just trouble focusing. people with adhd ignore social boundaries, things like pushing people, pulling hair, spontaneously roughhousing at inappropriate times in inappropriate places, taking other people's belongings without permission, refusing to wait your turn, not just being impatient about waiting. A friend of mine is actually adhd, he used to jump out his bedroom window at night and sneak around in neighbors yards, getting into their stuff, etc. That kind of socially inappropriate behavior should be part of an adhd diagnosis, and its really pretty awful they just slap everyone with adhd to collect a check.
@CaptainPnut15 жыл бұрын
gisforgary that is true yeah I was talking to a friend of mine who has that type of adhd too. She was saying she would beat up her brother and got into a lot of trouble at school. There are a few different types of adhd (in my humble research anyway), I however don’t have that hyperactive type, I would seem to have the one that is generally missed by teachers and everyone because I basically just blend in (inattentive type). It is a spectrum though so what one person with adhd has symptoms of another person might not. (Stop me if I’m ranting 😅)

I watched it all! BOOYA! (I took the comments as motivation - determined to prove it wrong) 😅 Dario is great. I’ve never gotten close to an INTJ so this was an interesting observational opportunity. I recognise a trait in myself - the propensity to trail off down every single thought in detail so no one can misconstrue my meaning. I feel more understanding for sensory types who just want you to get to the point 😅 I feel proud of the fact we female ENFPs are more inclined to all over neural firing, and more self compassion that that’s pretty darn exhausting so no wonder I can’t do and practically achieve the things more linear (boring) types can and do 😜

I had an idea for a couple of experiments. They may have already been tried, but just in case this is what I thought of. The first one was having a person of one type blindfolded, and having a person from each of the other types randomly and quietly enter the room near them to see how and if there is a brain response. the second was to have one person of each type seated in a circle with opposing types across from one another (like poles) and see what responses happen. I would love to know if you've already tried these, or if you do what happens.

You said something about watching ENFPs untie knots... One of the things I have always laughed at about myself, is the fact that I hate opening packages. I’m extremely impatient, and I just want the damn thing open. Usually resulting in a torn bag/box. It seems to frustrate other people, and I’ve tried to work on it, but I don’t know why I have no patience. I just give up even if it means ripping a package fully open where I have to use a Ziploc bag etc. for chips or something... 😂

Oh this is making so much sence. My Final Project on Fashion Design was named: "The application of sculptural fashion in the justification of colors from the perspective of Blind people" Semiotics | Fashion | Art | Inclusion The main Project was seven Fashion Sculptures all in white but representing the 7 colors os the rainbow. It was to make a point that even the people tnat couldn't see colors could explain them. Just the same way as typical people, cuz we can't explain the color efect so we use Semiothics, cultural assossiations of each. Example: Red: intensity blood war passion rage hot Blue: calm pure nature cold ocean So the sculptures were using the brainstorming of eash color. Red was metal spikes exagerated with roses and velvet Blue was very curvy and I made it seems like a splash of water and more minimalistic All 7 were white cuz they were there to represent the colors not to show colors. I wasn't good at doing the project, i passed but not happy with the results of the pieces. I was overthinking frozen and went back to coke cuz of the stress panic attacks PRESSURE AND DEAD LINE This thing needed to be a master piece full of details also the ressearch was too poor blw that I understand psychology things I was just a creative disney princess that needed time to express it. And seeing now the urge to do all things at once so chaotic damn I was exausted for years having insanely great ideas but never had one project done. So I am focus on body-mind health and also a medium at my religion(afro Brazilian called "Umbanda" ) Transformation to butterfly already started and stuff os getting organized, investkng money, carreer, and already helping tons of people on duty. Why do I need to do everything by my ownknowing my weaknesses, I can sell my fish and get the right people with the habilities to build a structured thing and I'm not rushing things now. Things goes wrong, but I'm not afraid of living anymore. Go get some vitamin d b6 b12 melatonin do mindfullness do exercises be creative and build a dinamic routine for your mind and body say nooo to cortisol and go build your own fucking disney castleeeee.

I’m an ENTJ (INTJs cousin we have the exact same functions just different order) who dated an ENFP for a very long time and have had many ENFP friends. I will say you guys are EXTREMELY likeable. I have Ni as my second function so I love your intuitive nature. You guys have good ideas too and it’s very fun to go on these abstract mental adventures with you guys. I do have some constructive criticism to give, (assuming you’re an ENFP) so maybe you can work on this. As a dominant Te user, logic is my way of life (same with INTJs btw). My problem with the ENFP is it’s not possible to reason with logic. You guys just don’t respond to it no matter how hard I try to break it down. You guys will just do whatever the hell you feel like doing, and then you find yourself at 35 years old and still having done nothing with your lives (sorry if that’s a rude wake up call). The problem is you don’t listen to peoples advice no matter how much sense it makes. You’re more concerned with having fun and socializing that you avoid taking on any responsibility or boring tasks that bring you closer to your goals. Fortunately you’re very likable so you can pretty much just get other people to help you with the hard stuff, but how far can you really go if you never feel like taking on the workload? Of course it’s uncomfortable working on the process and I understand that being a low Se user definitely doesn’t make it easier for you, but you NEED to focus and work on that. Your functions are like a muscle and they will become stronger the more you use them. There’s much more to life then just shooting the shit with your friends and wasting all your time accomplishing nothing. Pick out a ONE goal, and work on it RELENTLESSLY. I know you guys have a new goal every week but really try to pick the most important one (buying a house, building a business, finishing school, learning a language, starting a KZbin channel, etc). Quit chasing after fun all the time and go accomplish at least one thing and I promise you will feel so proud of yourself. You can start with working 10 minutes a day on your goal and slowly work your way up. The key is to be CONSISTENT and to do it every. Single. Day. With no excuses like oh I’m hungover, or oh I have to go to a party soon, or oh I actually my dog needs a bath. Just focus on your goal, and work until you’ve reached it. Quit fucking around.

I am a 40 year old female ENFP but I’ve followed traditionally masculine career paths. I can’t wait to be age 55 and have my whole brain light up again. I think this is where we ENFPs are meant to be without the toxic masculinity culture (even as I kind of have a love for that culture as it was what it got me to go somewhere with my life.)
