Kinda foresaw Himawari as the next jinchuriki of the nine tails. It was stated before that Tailed beasts are something like a clump of chakra, so my headcanon is that as long as there's a bit of chakra left they will eventually emerge. At first I thought, Boruto's Jougan was related to Kurama as Kurama can sense emotion. It was evident that Boruto's eye can sense/see emotion in the anime. So he gets the senses of Kurama and Himawari gets Kurama. But it's revealed to be Jogan, not the worst but not the best for me. At least give him a tenseigan or something like a rinnegan since he has the chakra of Hamura from Hinata and Chakra of Hagoromo form Naruto. Not their real sage chakra but chakra as a descendants.

So like many depictions of nine tailed fox in human form, Naruto also had those whiskers. They later changed it to Naruto being a vessel of Kurama, but whiskers were already there. And if they're there because Kurama is inside of him, they should never be an inheritable trait in the first place...
