This whole case study of the entire history of Nickelodeon is very interesting to me, and yes the origins of Nick has been a wild ride and journey to go through: From being irrelevant from the start (mainly due to the fact that most shows from the late 1970s to the early 1980s are still lost to this day), to eventually became very popular in 1984 all the way to the 1990s and even in the 2000s, and then it all went downhill when new management/leadership steps in; along with everything else from the late 2000s into the 2010s of Nickelodeon, and finally to what it is right now at its current state. As a person who've grown up of watching Nickelodeon in somewhere in the 2000s and then watching stuffs from that decade and even into the 90s, I still believe that the golden age of Nickelodeon is somewhere in between the 1990s and even in the early 2000s [plus 2004 and 2005] (the peak of Nickelodeon in my opinion). And yes, I've had some nostalgia from the 90s and 2000s Nick. Also with this video came out the same day when Sonic 3 finally released in theatre, oh boy this is the best Christmas present that we've ever been gifted.
