I'm glad you started explaining the native population from the broad introduction rather than starting off with the usual pilgrim + new england relations with the natives. Also the chronological pacing was really well done and really puts into perspective the grand timeline the US has gone through, rather than stretching it out for an academic year and poorly connecting each event with the next. Bill Wurtz's was greatly enjoyable but his was made intentionally vague as it was meant to just be a brief overview, whereas yours was very detailed and nuanced. Bill Wurtz's gives breath into widening people's foreign understanding of the world to stray away from western-centric history, establish a foundational understanding of the world, all while being digestibly entertaining. Whereas yours dives into depths genuinely twice as deep than any textbook can dive into, as they ignore otherwise crucial subtleties that you included. Your video gives a strong wave of information in such a slapstick compilation of US events and it's greatly appreciated. Your video may have been inspired by Bill Wurtz, with the lightheartededly quick snapshots and explanations w/ jokes, it's obvious the video was made by another masterful comedian and historian with hopes to educate his viewers. Although Wurtz's video may have been an LSD wet dream, I genuinely prefer your video over his. Well done mate 👍

The punching into the sky (especially the 8:29)was the funniest part and the stampede of people too (Here’s all the time stamps of the Stampede! These were funny! 0:18, 1:34, 2:18, 5:33 and 11:07)! Edit: Please make more on different countries! I love this! And also I’ll give it a 9/10 cause you forgot Alaska!

I am actually a descendent of Eli Whitney and it is so annoying when people try to say that he was racist… thank you for clarifying that he tried to stop slavery…. Really good vid bro 👍
@sboinkthelegday38922 жыл бұрын
Then you're a descendant of plenty of other people... who have only increased the amount of forced labor done for America, from what ever existed during slavery. You just don't claim responsibilty and "ownership" when "free" workers are jumping out of iPhone factory windows. And you throw fits about something like blackface when doing it. If the latter is "racist", it's better to be racist than what American hostile trade deals do to the world.
