Knowing that she actually studied in the field of her role. That is why she was the perfect portrayal of her character. I will alway adore and admire Pauley for her strength and resilience. She was great as Abby. The animosity between Pauley and Mark never showed on screen though. They played their roles well to the point that it appeared that Mark’s character cared deeply for Abby, like she was the daughter he never had.

It is a great tragedy that her life and career was disrupted by a stalker. Her character Abby is one of my favorites on NCIS. I remember seeing an interview she did with 60 Minutes. She talked about being stalked by someone, a man with a mental illness, he would send her letters all the time, show up at her home. That was the first time I found out why she was not acting much any more. I hope that Pauley Perrette remains safe and lives a full well-rounded life. Miss her being on NCIS.

Big fan of Pauley, and Abbey, so sad to hear of the turmoils behind the scenes, the on screen chemistry between Perrette and Harmon seemed really good, toward the end of her run her scenes with Mark seemed to fade, I relate, but she could have stuck it out. Being the smartest girl on TV isn't so bad.

Pauley's character of Abby was the reason I watched NCIS. I have to say though that the most iconic scene for me, was the Halloween episode where people were waiting to see what costume Abby wore, and she was an absolutely stunning Marilyn Monroe.

I met her and Ray Park on the same shoot, on a photography set I was working on. I got my copy of Entertainment Weekly the night before and the cover was Darth Maul. The next day was the shoot and Ray Park was a cool dude. Later in that shoot, Pauley and other people in the shoot also showed up to be photographed. At that time, Pauley already had the goth look and had jet black hair. I adored her look as I was into that scene at that time. Months, maybe more than a year later, I got a shock when I saw her on TV when my mom was watching NCIS. Pretty crazy.

When you watch a character as long as Abby was on NCIS it's hard not to think she's like that IRL. I think the writers never did her any favors because her character was inconsistent over the years. That's really my complaint about the show in general. It seem that they changed writing teams every few seasons and important plot points were missed or changed completely. She was supposed to be this Genius but her 'Quirks' kept changing and some were far from 'genius'. Of course none of that was her fault or represented her Real Life which goes back to what I first said. I hope she's living her Best Life and wish her All the Luck in the World!

To this date, NCIS is still my favorite tv series ever ! Each member of the cast fit into their parts like a glove ! I admit when ZIVA left, I was broken hearted, not because I loved Cote de Pablo, but because Ziva's character was so important on the show. Abby was equally important. The producers could never find anyone to fill Abby's character !

WOW, I had no idea she was older than me by a few years, I thought she was about 20 years younger than me, putting her in her late 30's early 40's now. She really has taken incredible care of herself. Sad to hear about why she left NCIS. I found her character and acting to be one of the best parts of the show, she truly played the character incredibly realistic. I'm happy that she could identify the things in life and in entertainment that were toxic for her. Having spent my life in entertainment, I have seen many as well as said bye forever to many that couldn't take anymore of it and gave up on life because they were so attached to what they loved doing and without it felt as though their lives were meaningless. Good for you Pauley, You found your happiness and meaning in life 😀

I remembered from years ago allegedly Pauley Perrette supposedly met Michael Bosman when she was filming in Grand Rapids Michigan, where he worked as a pizza delivery boy at Papa John's. Pauley was married to Coyote Shivers at the time, but he filed for divorce when Pauley's affair with the pizza boy was discovered true or not it would be in the divorce filling. Bebe Buell I know him, while he was getting a divorce. I have witnessed first hand the harassment that his ex wife has endured upon him for many years, even now as his friend many years later. YES, we are friends and in the year we dated, he NEVER abused me, much less yelled at me. On an evening I was spending with Coyote, I witnessed Pauley trying to break into a window of the house in the middle of the night with a male friend in an attempt to ambush Coyote, in the house she moved out of about a year earlier voluntarily, just to serve him with divorce papers, even though she was already served, by myself and a friend in the Airport over a week earlier as well as again by service mail. She simply refused to be served first and wanted to unleash her own terror. She even went to the extent to call the police and lie to them telling them that she was locked out of her house by her estranged husband. All the while telling them that she was "Pauley Perette from NCIS. A TV show on channel etc". She no longer had a key because that was NOT her home. Well not until she bought Coyote out of it during the divorce, then sued him and was able to make him spend all the money she paid him for the house on legal fees. Peace out.

I started waching C S I the og in vegas ehith Grissom . I enjoied the charechters as well as the plot.Then i found N.C.I.S. can i say hooked .My fav character was Abby Schowto.Pauly Perrett was highly skilled at macking her character not only believable but loveable .When she left the show i halfheartedly continued to wach but soon lost intrest after Micheal Wheatherly left .Ziva left ,tony left ducky left but the thing that ended it for me was agent Nick Tores Wilmar what ever ,not . The show,s power people should have made a spin off just fot Pually.
