A very oversimplified history of PlayStation and its commercial successes and failures.
This video took me a ridiculous amount of time to make, so a like and sub would be very much appreciated :)
I don't have a means of recording PS2 games and only have a few PS1 games, so most of the footage for those consoles comes from Joseph J.Y.A. Go check his videos too because he makes some very entertaining stuff!

*First of all. You’re underrated as hell* I’m saving up for a PS4. also In case you didn’t know. You can emulate on it. the PS4 is just a wholesome console. I mean it’s got a built-in DVD player and HD games. And a BROWSER. the PS5 doesn’t have one which is fine because the browser on the PS4 wasn’t that good. but still. Browser on a console. how good is that. *thanks for reading all comments* **we need a video about emulators**

I'm curious why the word DVD always shows up in discussions like these. Do you really mean "DVD" or are you referring to bluray? DVDs use a resolution format that died when TVs started having the yellow "HD Ready" sticker on them in stores, back in 2006. No TV sold today has only 576 pixels in height, so why do people still use them? Do people actually use them and have forgotten about the successor bluray and then UHD bluray, or is it just the term that is difficult to stop using?

Honestly ps5 was no disapintpement They relased good exclusives on it Most people said same thing about ps4 beacuse they don't haves to much exclusives at launch just like ps5

@@PS50065 not talking about games. Games are the same on any platform. I’m talking about the console itself. It’s huge. The controllers are too big for kids and people with smaller hands. The UI is unintuitive. I prefer everything about the ps4 so that’s why I’m still using it.

I'm a fan of this fun company Nintendo PlayStation Xbox Dreamcast gaming for me and appreciate that chance of playing & different game's usually for me debating on my Peon's gender and passing All those different systems and passing different game's for myself when I passed different game's for myself for fun to myself.

I love all my playstations but the ps5 fell off so hardddd half of the games it has are remasters of ps4 games, the controllers break so easy and the most expensive version of ps plus is just a shittier version of gamepass glad I got an xbox this gen can't wait for all the cods to come to gamepass soon so I dont have to buy them anymore

In my opionion i think ps5 is much better than ps4 Cause of to thinks They relased more exclusives Demons souls remake 2020 Rift apart and returnal 2021 2022 the last of us part 1 remake 2023 spider man 2 finally fantasy 16 This year rise of ronin stellar blade finally fantasy 7 rebirth Sony is going strong

I really love both. The PS5 is just really solid, and the controller is amazing, the PS4 is my favorite console of all time I think, Just because it was my main console from 2016 all the way to 2023 :)
