My head canon is that la Garde actually had the soul of the ancient one and was destined to become the God of Funger. Nilvan stole his soul with her wet dreams to become really "endless" and have her daughter become an ascended one. Good videos, gonna watch the third

I haven't watched the third video yet, but these first two are really good, thorough, and accurate to the games!! Sidenote but it took me OUT when I heard Fishy Aroma from Umineko, I really didn't expect it aghfg. I hope these and your channel blow up!!!

If we have a party talk with Enki inside the Gauntlet he states this: “This is the God of the Depths. We are at the Altar of Darkness. Once this was a terrifying place but the god has been sleeping for a long time now… Only traces of the Older gods remain in this world anyway.”

@shadowtheaxolotl True.🤯 But I thought there was some credible evidence that there was a character that permenantly linked the God's real physical body to the dungeon in a literal way. Maybe It was somebody relaying fiction as fact (well it's all fiction but you know😂)

Theory for le' garde : he doesn't have a soul because he was prophesized, therefore, a soul would make it possible for him to go against that prophecy, which cannot happen.

In my personal head-cannon, there is this cursed animation poem video on YT before F&H came out. We know from the second game that: Enki achieve enlightenment and wrote the skin bibles, the girl made it to the depths and became god of fear and hunger, Ragnvaldr escaped the dungeons with moonless and that Le Garde made it to the golden throne and rose up as the yellow king.

My theory is that, originally he had a Dominating soul, but lost it due to torture. Hence why he can resist the call of Miasma

15:31 As far as I know, as per community discussion and other content creatrors' talks with Miro, Le'garde's death in the dungeon is canon, and he ascended via his resurrection (as D'arce even notes something other than her is guiding her ritual), not the throne. Given Termina's information, D'arce's, Enki's, and Ragnavldr's S endings are all considered canon, and it is thus speculated that it was Kahara who took the girl inside the God of the Depths. Edit: Upon revision, there is conflicting evidence that suggest both L’egarde reaching the golden throne and dying before D’arce reaches him; I am currently unable to determine which is accurate without further input from Miro. Honestly, we should consider the possibility of both happening; D’arce could’ve resurrected him and he could’ve subsequently reached the golden throne.

Knowing how these kind of things work all the major endings are canon. All the S endings, L’Garde’s ascension, and the girl becoming the God of Fear and Hunger ushering in the Cruel Age all happened. Like the Dragon Breaks in The Elder Scrolls. All outcomes happened and the timelines reconnected into one. Ancient and/or Eldritch magic has different rules. But also no rules at the same time.
