my guess about alastor is that he sees those who have tortured and murdered people as having deserved it themselves, which explains why he immediately goes after the overlords but he doesn't like it when innocents are harmed, or I am giving him too much hope.

You're actually correct! Vivzie said that when it comes to killing he has a moral code akin to Dexter, and would only kill those that killed themselves or escaped punishment. He wouldn't kill innocents, nor harm women and children. He also wasn't a cannibal in life, only during afterlife.

That, and it's clearly not a male corpse, so that's just a random sinner from Cannibal Town, not Franklin. All the Carmines were doing was collecting a spear left behind in the extermination. Rosie crossing out Franklin's name is just implying he also died in the extermination.

3:24 somthing id like to point out thats important to the lore is a sigal seen on the building. This is rue (root of all evil) and shes a threat that wont appear till a later date. She may not have appered in hazbin but she did in helluva boss the sister series to the show. In “murder family” the mother when she is killing the imp crew says that they are sacrificing them to the root of all evil with the rue imagery all over the place.

I believe roo and eve are in fact the same person because if you think of it eve is the root of eve since she ate the fruit of forbidden knowledge meaning evil quite literally lives in her since she consumed the physical embodiment of evil and I think she goes by roo (root of all evil) as a nickname similar to how characters go by nicknames that reflect their design, life on earth, or personality

Okay I have nowhere else to put this than here. So there is a fuck ton of eyes and eye symmetry. There are eyes in the wallpaper, architetcure and in the literal buildings. Those building eyes are very similiar to the eyes seen in the falling of Lucifer cene exactly in the "dark pit" so hell. These eyes could be Roo or other higher beings watching the casts every move. Also bulding eyes also appear befoere and during songs.

i heard that rosie was originally a hellborn but changed to be a sinner in the full release. i believe she mentions some stuff about her life as a human. the comics arent canon anymore, but its so close to canon i dont think it really matters edit: as for alastor, unlike with other real life killers, he has a great respect for women. i think thats why he killed that demon in the comic, because he was attacking a "helpless" woman. theres several points during the main show where he seems to almost spare lady demons, plus his relationships with women in the show are much closer than with male characters.

pretty sure rosie isnt canonically a hellborn anymore. viv has never directly confirmed this, and it doesn't make sense with what we know of the hierarchy of hell. i don't remember if it was viv herself but someone on the crew confirmed that the cannibals are sinners, not hellborn. i assume they look similar due to all being cannibals and dying around the same time, but they aren't a separate species also. the "respawn theory" is correct and canon. viv confirmed it in the a24 early access q&a additionally: it's never stayed that alastor killed **every** other overlord, just that he killed a bunch of heavy hitters

@darkbrumoment doesn't that destroy the entire point to Heaven then? Because it is specifically said to get into Heaven in the real world to believe in Christ as your lord and savior and redemption. And we see since Lucifer was thrown out of Heaven due to wanting the same glory as God, that Angels can get kicked out of Heaven. Also, it's obvious Adam isn't the most powerful so I think kicking him out would be easy. It makes sense for the angels to be snarky or judgy at demons, but Adam commits pretty much every sin in the book going against everything in an Angel's moral code. Also the angels killing everyone just for fun I will admit it a pretty vague idea and does nothing but make angels look awful.

Remember, Angel Dust killed an angel without an angelic weapon. Again, a plot hole. It doesnt say that Carmillas shoes are made of Angelic weapons. Angel Dust killed an angel even though his tommy gun was not a angelic weapon as proof of this. This is a plothole, really... Edit: KZbin is not working for me. Inconsistency of colors and effects in animation are still plot holes. Edit: Since the comments arent working again: @UCiSdL5KAb4ZXVam7bGqDDXg.....You cant stop the animation at all or it wouldnt be animation. Like I said before, thats a different art medium. Theres people on KZbin that are confused with the show. Yeah because NORMAL bullets do that too. You have proved my point again. Please reread my comments. Animation and story Inconsistencies or errors will create plotholes. You do know that the lack of pacing will create plot holes right? If you look up the reviews on HH KZbin, you will find the lack of pacing, errors and inconisstencies as plot holes. They are all animation errors anyways. Most of the show is a huge mess.

It is shown in the meeting that Carmilla's shoes are made of Angelic steel and is even shown to us in a flashback. Angel Dust's gun likely has bullets made of angelic steel.

Carmilla never says "I killed the angels using my steel boots as a tool for decapitation." it's called visual story telling, the subtle glow is a form of foreshadowing where we can look back and say "Oh, that was pretty clever!" If you've watched the show you'd also realise that angels can only be killed with angelic steel and nothing else. Again, Angel Dust doesn't say "I'm going to kill this angel with angelic steel bullets" but a general audience can (most of the time) put the pieces together and come to the conclusion that the only way for the angel to have been killed is with angelic steel. I recommend looking at the subtle hints of the show through visual cues and other minor interactions made with the characters.

Visually it is NOT going to do anything to back up your claim. Characters have to say it in tv shows. I watch tv shows. I never had any issues before besides this series. There is something wrong here. We are missing two seasons. When you read a web comic, you would have time to think and read it. But this is animation. You do NOT stop the animation or watch it over and over again to get it. This is another different art medium. I'm sorry so upset right now.
