Caitlin Clark's talent and presence have brought increased viewership and funding to the league. And for an association that has barely made profits since it was founded in 1996, one would think that WNBA players would love and appreciate Clark for the massive development she has brought to the league in such a short time. But the opposite is the case.
So why exactly do WNBA players hate Caitlin Clark? Is it about her race, or has she done something bad that we all don’t know about?

There are have been so many instances where Caitlin could have clapped back at someone and every time she takes the high road. AR taunting CC in the 2023 Natty when AR got carried by her teammates (had to transfer into a winner too because she couldn’t make Maryland a contender) and CC basically saying “Yeah, it didn’t bother me. They won and they should celebrate” is what separates the two. She never took the bait AR desperately wanted her to because it would keep her name in the media. CC has a team-first mindset and lets her game speak for itself. AR on the other hand throws a hissy fit when she can’t stat pad to keep her meaningless streak alive in a game that’s already over and would have been close if she wasn’t terrible from the field. The Sky were 6-10 during the streak. Yet she seems to care more about her records than winning. Like Iowa, without CC the Fever are a dumpster fire. Like LSU, without AR the Sky are pretty much the same team, no better or worse. That’s difference.

In all the other sports you never see the retired legends trashing the new stars ever. I have never seen Joe Montanna trash tom brady or brady trash Mahomes or Larry bird trashing the new NBA stars. They are always complementing them. Caitlin just embodies everything I believe in for what an athlete, role model is. Her sportsmanship and humble spirit are to be emulated by the young kids growing up. Growing up I modeled my attitude after larry bird, george brett, franco harris, etc. Shows how corrupt the media really is that they are trashing this young lady for no reason at all. She just wants to play basketball. I am sure as a kid dreaming of this I dont think she thought it would be this evil and corrupt. She must be very, very disappointed.

Reese needed those 3 rebounds to giver her 10 for the night 7/11/2024 Reese should never had broke the record. In a game before she supposably broke it, Reese went in for a lay up and the shot was blocked. The ball never hit the rim or backboard, and Reese caught the ball out of bounds. CC has been hooping since being a little girl, and against boys. Her passing is like surgery. Her IQ is light years ahead of her teammates and on top of that, she must deal with internal jealousy as well. There are many instances where Kelsey Mitchell doesn't want to pass her the ball. That is why next year Mitchell and Sides will be gone. CC knows the deal. Further, I would not be surprised that Angel Reese wins the ROY award (not deserving), so the WNBA can capitalize on the controversy. Obviously, the brain-trust of the WNBA doesn't have any creativity or clues on what is going on, which is why the league hasn't made any money. If they were smart, CC would be on the Olympic team now given Taurasi's and Griner's injuries. My advice don't be like Joe Biden and miss an opportunity by being stubborn (although I think Trump will win anyway). Certain opportunities only knock once.

Clark set the scoring record for those players who played 4 years with a 3 point option. Maravich set the record for those who played 3 years with no 3 point option available. So subtract Clark's freshman year and change the 3 point baskets to 2 point baskets and do the math. The current pettiness and jealousy displayed against Clark is disgusting and shameful!
