Finally with latest patch the game is fixed for me. I loved it so much i bought the DLC and had the most fun ive had driving in a long time in the Ferrari 296. The way the cars really jump into the turns is like polar opposite of the understeer fest that is GT7 but once i got into my flow state i was blown away by the immersion and ffb detail.

We’ve done some testing and we can have people create ‘teams’ and recruit drivers and they automatically get assigned the right car with the correct colours as they join. Very exciting stuff!

Hi, thanks for the recent setup vids. I have a G29,ps5 combo and can now control the car quite nicely and the FFB is much much better than GT7. I'm very new to ACC so just getting to grips offline at the moment.

Graet video and race mate, enjoyable to watch! Couple of questions please if you don't mind; what FOV are you using (and the associated settings like height etc.)? And if that wheel is what I think it is (Logitech G29) what are your wheel settings in game? I'm on XBOX Series X and have the Logi G920, only started sim racing a few weeks back and pretty much only ACC but after a frustrating start (too eager, lacking control or discipline) I'm now slowly getting to grips with it and really enjoying it so watching stuff like this is inspiring!

What a fantastic race, I am just getting used to ACC on line. I have come away from GT7 as I'm fed up with the dirty driving. Do you use paid setups or do you use your own? I find setting the car up very confusing 😂

Yeah I’m really enjoying ACC right now. In this race I used a setup based on the aggressive default. I have also tested a few setups from this KZbin channel too. Some great setups here for free. kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4e2iIBmjLqCfNU I then just adjust tire pressures and fuel for the ambient and race length 👍🏻

Great race pal. I still can't get on with my setup to play acc. I've tried the setup from the link you sent me on the dd pro, but I think my wheel base settings have been messed with that much, it's affecting the overall feel. Once I can get something I'm happy with, I'll happily get on board

lap one ghosting isn't just the start, sometimes it works for the entire first lap. Had have had someone drive straight through me on lap one. very disconcerting

In the public races you can’t add pit stop requirements. In private (password protected) races you can have more requirements including pit stops and even driver changes! We do plan to host feature races which include some of these things 👍🏻

Decided to give ACC a go, there appears to be an issue with my pedals though! They are recognised on the calibration screen but not once I try to actually drive. Anyone have any ideas? PS5 and Thrustmaster T-GT11 with the load cell pedals.

That’s strange. And they work ok in other games? Does it just not show them being used in the options controller settings?

Yep, work fine in other games, just tested them in GT7 and Grid as it had been a couple weeks since I used it. They also work in the calibration screen fine too, just nothing when I try to leave the pits. If I switch off the wheel it reverts to controller and that works as it should. I'll have another look later with fresh eyes as I may be missing something.

Does the steering work? I also think you need to have ‘wheel’ selected at the top of the controller settings screen too. I can’t remember exactly tho. Last thing to try. Launch the game with your controller disconnected and only wheel before you start the game.

@@Doughtinator I think that last bit is the key. Not necessarily having the controller disconnected but making sure the wheel is on when the game opens. Tried it again and it worked, the only difference was the wheel was powered up when I opened the game as it was still plugged in from earlier. Closed it again, switched off the wheel, rebooted the game, reconnected wheel and it was back, all functions work other than the pedals. Weird glitch somewhere but I now know how to work around it so thanks. On a side note ACC is sooooo different to drive than GT7, I think I'm going to enjoy this but it's going to take some learning 😂

Awesome. Glad it’s working. Yeah its a whole new world of detail and feedback driving these GT3 beasts. It’s enjoyable to learn. Work on consistency first and you’ll pick it up faster instead of over driving the car GT7 style 👍🏻
