I have messed around with ACC and I do like it but there is currently nothing better than GT7 VR I mean 5 months in and when I play it I am literally smiling and laughing like a school girl just in awe of the experience that a video game can provide. Would jump on the opportunity to play ACC in VR on ps5 and would pay for the game over again if I had too.

ACC is the most realistic GT3/GT4 simulation on consoles but GT7 has them with all the free updates with tracks and cars plus with all the different online races that you can get at anytime. I have both and feel if I want to race hardcore sim, I play ACC. If I want a quick fun game, I play GT7.

I'm big into GT7 VR but I'm kinda fed up with the penalty / ghosting system there, it needs Grand Marshall Sophie more than racing AI upgrades right now imo. Also there's like a break on the nations and Manu's Cups so it was the perfect time to try ACC again and wow, I came out impressed. If it had VR support it'd be the best racing game on console by far, so much fun to drive now.

I hope they fixed the FFB to be more immersive. 1.8 was left to be desired and also hope they fixed the button mapping issue. I'm going have to get it go this weekend and see if it gotten better.

I have been a GT fan since I was old enough to pick up a DualShock 2, my late dad was an avid GT fan and had been playing since the original, both me and him were a bit disappointed in GT Sport (as a lot of people were) and he was looking forward to GT7. Unfortunately he passed away in October 2020 due to heart complications and never got to play GT7. GT7 was fun for the first 6 months as any new game is, but I've found myself playing less and less until now I only play the odd session for about an hour then I put it down again. I recently tried the original AC on PS Plus and it completely changed my aspect on racing games and made me question my loyalty to the GT franchise, watching this confirms my suspicion of GT just being absolutely dull these days and an insult to those players that have been with the franchise from the beginning. I think if my old man was still here he'd feel the same way and would definitely get ACC.

GT has a longer history and a better overall package between presentation and a decent handling model. Saying ACC isn't a superior sim is a bit disingenuous, to be honest.

Finally got the acc pad settings down to my liking love the real feel to acc and real tracks been to oulton park and they have it spot on . On the ps5 gt7 graphics are amazing too but for me on console I’d go acc then gt7 both great games

I'll buy ACC on PS5 same day they release psvr2 support. I was playing ACC on PC for about 250 hours, but abandoned it completely after trying GT7 in VR. I've played about 160h GT7 only in VR, just can't get back to 2D screen.

I haven’t played in a while. I really haven’t had the time. I think ACC requires a bit more time dedicated to it to fully enjoy it where GT7 is far more pick up and play friendly. I do love ACC though. Especially with console cross play. I really need to get back to it.

I use my PSVR2 in ACC that way I don’t have to move my rig anymore. The biggest screen setting was pretty close to what my FOV settings were for my 55 inch at the distance I was from the tv. With my monitor stand my tv was right in front of my wheelbase. (I use the GT DD Pro) I’d love to see vr on ACC for ps5 but I highly don’t it will happen. AC2 is the main focus now and that’s only launching on PC with consoles at a later date.

GT7 does not have a BIG problem. GT7 is a console game with the immersion expected from a console game. ACC is a PC port with the PC level of immersion. GT7 will always be king because not many console players are PC sim players and just want to switch on and drive, not spend a lot of time in menus and settings before a wheel is turned.

At main menu but in race if I go to the settings it crashes so I need to adjust test then back out the course and so on which makes it hard to try different cars as it takes me forever to mess around with ffb and I need to make sure the steering wheel lock is accurate. I've uninstalled the game and reinstall and still have the same issues.

I’m wondering what type screen you use and if you experience any screen door effect. I have and lg c2 oled and I still pick up some nasty screen door effects as well as a bit of lag at times. I’m hooked straight into the cox cable modem via Ethernet cat 9 or 10 and have 500 mbs download with 400 or so upload.

imo, acc does everything better than gt7. and the ff is so much more detailed - even on a g29. love acc also, i rarely spin out in acc & even if i do so - i can save it 90% of the time - gt7 is just insane - you either have full grip or no grip. when i spin out in gt7 (which i do on every slow corner) 99% of the time i can't save it. I read somewhere that gt7 has almost 0 slip angle which is simply unrealistic. and after seeing 24 endurance yesterday - i love it even more - the amount of effort put in acc is miles ahead of gt7. I just hope they bring the special events back in acc

This is the thing. When I’ve found good multiplayer servers the racing has been superb. That’s why me and my team are looking to host a server. Setup a track rotation. Bring shareable stats and ranking to ACC similar to GT7. This is all possible. We’ve been testing. It could be incredible 🔥🔥

Have they sorted the experience for controllers on PS5? Last time I looked you had to use the thumb sticks to steer if you don’t have a wheel. GT7 is massively superior if you don’t have a wheel and use the . They are missing a trick by not taking advantage of controller motion controls

Has anyone encountered a pit lane limiter bug on career mode? Nurburgring GP track I keep getting a 30 second stop and go but I am definitely not speeding. Auto limiter is on 1st gear engaged. If I come in for my penalty soon as I leave I am disqualified!

GT7 does not have BOP applied with the cars if you use time trial. You’ll have to adjust the power and weight if you want to match what you are driving in ACC.

I bought gt7 on release and ended up buying ACC and AC and giving gt7 to a friend. The physics where laughable in gt7.. Recently ditched my logitech gear and purchased fanatec csl DD 8nm with loadcells and went for an aluminium rig with triple monitor setup. Wish I had switched to PC for racing years ago soooo many more titles availible hardware options are near limitless and triple monitors works better with depth perception than psvr. Will still keep a hold of my ps5 for casual gaming but as for sim racing I will never go back to console again for that genre. Just an FYI for all the console peeps building a gaming PC can be done for less than the price of a next gen console if you order the parts and throw it all together yourself you don't need the latest graphics cards an £££££ or corsair ram sticks etc. I highly recommend you have a look into it as an option in the future.

The graphics are quite nice. Especially after seeing some F1 footage recently, which looked pretty rough. I don't own a wheel currently but this will definitely be on my list when I get one.

I’ve actually raced and AC just ain’t it. Actual race cars don’t behave the way this game interprets. It’s artificial difficulty. Thank god I didn’t pay for this game or I’d be pissed. I don’t think kissing the games’ ass is gonna help it. GT7 has it quirks but overall a much better game than AC. Uninstalled and done with it.

I am loving acc , g29 works great playing it on ps5 enjoying AI racing in this game,I enjoy the racing especially on a wheel, I don't enjoy the racing in gt7 because of the AI also the driving is so much better then gt7

I don't take it the wrong way but asset Corsa competizione has been dead for years on console and to top it all off since they left updates for ps4 but nobody plays asset competition compared to the great community that exists in asset Corsa competition on pc

For sure AI in GT7 is embarrassing. I believe it’s 60fps on PS5. I only use 1080 monitor so I’m not sure if it can still hit 60fps at 4K.

Stay on PC for ACC, no need for PS5 version. I have ACC on both PC and PS5, the physics are so similar, almost indistinguishable. But ffb is better on PC.

Gt7 vr is ahead, GT7 u have normal cars to have fun with and u can tune them, u can even swap thd engine. What kind of problen GT7 has because of ACC? Assetto Corsa for me was by far the worst game ever, because of totaly useless online mode, i gathered 20 people we played map 5 laps, and i wanted to change the map, u can't all people were kicked out... not to mention that u can't set like 10 track with 3-5 min qual for like 3-10 laps that u can challenge on different tracks. TOCA3 was much more fun than AC on PC, even Project Cars 2 has better multiplayer. It is good 1 track simulator

I may still choose GT7 over ACC but not sure yet the reason is simple I can't stand PC cheaters, no cheaters on console that's something that I like. Just the FACTS there's Hella Cheaters on Pc alot of Streamers as well cheating 🐀.

@@Doughtinator Roy Castle; I want to be better than I am and in an attempt to achieve that I won't stray. I don't ever anticipate being exceptional but I would like to race as an A+. This is at the moment only a pipe dream as I only ever race Monday morning and then only if I am within a second of the best time. I learnt the 'G' string banjo about twelve years ago, it took about a year and a half, I was doing session work. It was suggested to me by an engineer to try the mandolin as he knew of a folk outfit due in the studio in seven weeks. So I put aside the banjo and dedicated my time to the mandolin, got the gig and then continued to try for mastery. About a year later I went back to the banjo and it was like I had not completely learnt it, a valuable lesson I thought and that is why 😁🤜🤛
