My prediction for the level is that the longer you survive as metal sonic past the part where eggman goes into the elevater the easier it becomes to save eggman because Exeitor is distracted by metal sonic and once metal sonic is defeated, Exeitor will go after eggman and depending on how long you survived as metal sonic eggman could have either gone farther in the stage or at the beginning.
