I agree, quite cinematic and amazing. I also love the trailblzers answer as to why life sleeps and how that affected Sunday. He has spent most if not all of his life on Penacony and seen so many people sacrifice so much, give up everything and do horrible things just to enter Penacony and have that perfect eternal dream. And that has probably shaped his convictions. So the MC saying that we will wake from our dreams. We slumber to rest, we slumber to recover, and sometimes we slumber to escape from this painful world for a time. But we will always wake up and make our dreams a reality, working hand and hand with our fellow trailblazers and make the world a better place. May this journey lead us Star ward!

I thought when i watched that caelus he would be just the male stella much like lumine and aether but boy was i wrong the most interesting caelus has ever been if in fan made images so not cannon. if i was to rank the 4 characters based of writing and characters in general the lists would be by character. 1. lumine 2. stella 3. aether and then a long long long way away in 4th caelus. but writing very similiar 1. stella 2. aether. 3. lumine and a long way way down 4th caelus.

Shaoji cooked well, but man I don't like how people are so, positive for the future of HSR right now. Isn't this like practically how Shaoji does things. He makes it look like the story is okay and happy then he just slowly takes it away, little by little until you're completely depressed. And after that he starts building the positivity again until it's really positive again but it doesn't really help since you're already depressed and he considers it a "positive and wholesome story" since it started positively and ended positively without really engaging what happened in between. 😂

I Never cried so much playing a game. Ever. Not even the ending of the Guild Wars 2 Dragon cycle, which I followed for more than a decade since my mid-childhood had me tear up this bad. I was inconsolable. Like that interstellar Meme where the guy watches the recordings of his daughter get older and older, i just sat in front of my screen and my tears fell like dusks rain. It was perfect. This was, by far, the greatest moment in all of video game history. This blows Fontaines ending - though insanely good - out of the water and cements itself as the pinnacle of gaming as a medium and an art form. Everything here is beautiful, the visuals, the analogies, the callbacks to both Honkai Impact 3rd and Art as a whole (Dominicus touching Ena is clearly a reference to that famous Michelangelo Painting in the Sistine chapel), the music, the orchestral/piano version of Robins song, that has so much gravitas and feeling behind it but its also so… unassuming and free at the same time, her hugging her brother as he falls, “The night is still… too short” as a way of saying “I failed and my dream now ends.”, both the dream in a literal sense as well as his dream of the perfect - if flawed - world. The ending that feels like the end of a movie, with the actors and explanations of who did what, it’s cinematographic genius truly. This is grandeur. And I’m so, so interested in seeing how they’ll top it.

I find it funny how Duk thought that leaving the dove to its own devices which would doom it to an early painful death is what nature intended, even though nature intends for many things, diseases, aging, predation, sacrifices, suffering, but also nurture and growth etc. Yet everything around it and that includes people is unnatural as it is formed through thought, fences, houses, people, cages, internet, medical knowledge and prevention, energy harvest and distribution etc. Reminds me a lot of anti-vax people, who don't want vaccines due to them being unnatural, yet they themselves live in an environment possible only because of many unnatural things and are likely alive and not in agony because of it too. I can't decide whether the appeal to nature fallacy is just an excuse for the human mind to not think about some things other than itself or if it's a case of "too complex to be single-minded, but not complex enough to not be stupid".

Wildlife reintroduction is one of the things where the naturalistic fallacy is not a fallacy because if an animal doesn't know how things work in nature, it WILL die and way more painfully than it should. If you don't know what you're doing, you're doing the thing a favor by leaving it alone, even if it dies. Because if you take care of it and it loses the chance to learn how to take care of itself, it will die anyway later on when you release it into the wild without properly teaching it how to function, more likely of hunger than predation. Since the option was about building the bird a nest and giving it a shot at living instead of just feeding it to a snake or leaving it on the ground, that was a better option if we consider the alternative ended with the bird smashing into a window and dying anyway. Sunday was not going to admit to that however so he just casually mentions how he noticed several predator species that eat birds in his backyard. At which point do we stop blaming nature for doing what it does and start blaming Sunday for not clearing his backyard of carnivorous predators?

Regarding Sunday's moral dilemma of supporting Robin's path, I think I can make it a bit more understandable to the real world. Imagine the most precious person in your life, doesn't matter if it's a friend or family member, volunteered to deliver medical supplies to troops at the frontlines in Ukraine. Can you really say with certainty that they or the troops they helped will stay alive, or if they'll be shot dead without mercy, all of their hard work going to waste or maybe even forgotten? So I don't think it's unnatural to do everything in your power to convince them not to go and possibly die in vain. I'm not implying that caging someone up is right, since it *is* their decision at the end of the day, but it does make the "right" choice for yourself a lot less obvious.

Maybe I'm misremembering, but the Charmony Festival and Watchmaker's Legacy is a concept that's well known and been done multiple times right? ​@@andysabur4966 1. The Charmony Festival is implied to have occurred multiple times, because it's a once-an-Amber-Era event, so I'm assuming there has been a few. But I think this is the first time the Watchmaker Legacy was brought up. 2. So this is the first time Mikhail and Gallagher invited outside factions to "the Charmony Festival" in Penacony. 3. I can't put a timeline on how long ago did Mikhail die. Based on the current event quest, seems the current head of the Iris Family, and a few others knew the Watchmaker personally, so it should be relatively recent. But the Astral Express stopped travelling and only resumed recently after Himeko repaired it. So it must have been ancient. Because Mikhail must been dropped off before the Astral Express stopped travelling

My guess is that at some point his body is long gone and he lived as a dream person only for quite some time. Sadly as much as a lot of folks like HSR for story a lot of its hype came from the fact that it connects to Honkai Impact They could have made the game its own thing but the Dev doesnt seem to think Star Rail can stand on its own and thus named its characters from existing characters from their other game like Seele and Bronya and the others. Even some of the hype of 2.2 still connects to Honkai Impact

The Order (Or Sunday I guess) literally ended itself. THEY merged reality and the dream -> which led to Misha being able to hear the Express when it arrived in Penacony -> which led to Misha leaving the dream bubble and meeting us -> therefore became the one flaw to wake us up from the Order's dream -> which led to the Order's demise.. 🤌🏽
