Eritreans are proud of Benyam Girma's achievements in the Tour de France. Ofcourse, Eritrean has long cycling history which dates to 1930s. He is one of the talent among Eritrean cyclists. Great he had this opportunity and we congratulate him. Eritrea is land of heroes, so it is not a surprise that he was able to achieve such heights. Thanks for the opportunity.

You see how the game is played. In Rwanda, those guys ride bikes up and down those mountains delivering milk. Yet, we can't get enough money together and visa issues stop riders from going to some of these places. Even traveling within Africa is a nightmare because of French colonial hold on these countries.

Thank you ever so much, I've lived in UK since late 80's. I was born in Asmara, like many kids I've had one passion & that was cycling!!! However I've been detouch from homeland, let alone cycling. Again thank you very much to you, now I've been update! Bini is a striking young lad, he's gentleman, very modest, all his expression mild! I can't stop admiring this young man. Bini represent the cycling sport and he has fans all over the world no matter what background and we are not all black. Bini is a great human being not because of the colour of his skin but because of who he is and how he is towards people! Don’t forget Scott stood by him when most of the cycling world had turned their back even you Eritrean did say much! But Scott kept reporting even met Bini ! why the colour why not just focus on Bini as a beautiful person. And I do hope he break down a lot of prejudice about the colour of the skin have we not come further? So sad let talk about the person rather than the skin!! Bini and Scott has showed us that!!!!!🎉
