I hope it cooled off for you guys by the time you got to Yellowstone. I just came back from northern Arizona on the hottest day of the year. It was 112 in Scottsdale when I gave it up for the day and took off the next morning at 4:00 30 and it was still 92. Don't want to do that too often.

Been looking forward to this v-log series! Very nice start, thanks! I stayed in Mitchell, OR back in 1993...either in town or not far outside, up on a hilltop, there used to be a small, privately-run motel...very hippy/trippy sort of place. As I recall, there was no aircon, but the gardens were very pleasant. It was clean and a good place to overnight...not sure if it is still there, though.

A lot of those towns weren't gold on the east side of they mountains, they were either railroad towns or fur trading hubs. The fur industry in the 1800s was HUGE it was just a lucrative as gold at one point.

I'm a little surprised none of you thought to stop at the visitor's center at the foot of the bridge that crosses the Snake River into Twin Falls since ya rode right past it. It's (close to) where Evel Knievel tried to jump the Snake River way back when. Perfect roadside attraction for a group of Harley Riders....very focused on getting to Yellowstone KOA I suppose.

It's a small lighted mirror for checking the GoPro camera... Usually for bugs on the lens, but also good for a quick status check as well. Thanks Logan!
