Uninsured drivers on Florida and Jacksonville’s roadways are affecting your car insurance premiums and leaving those who sometimes only have the state minimum requirements for insurance paying thousands of dollars out of pocket for the damages in a crash, according to an Action News Jax investigation.

Yup lived in Jax for over 3 years. Me and my whole fam left. Back to the Midwest! So glad I left. Love being back home. Big city with a beach and mild winters.. that’s about it.

No way would I ever live in any city, in any state. I live in Florida (in the countryside), and it's wonderful. No more dreadful 7-month-long winters like I previously dealt with in the north.

I think ppl dont have insurance bc they cant afford it. Average cost of car payment is $700 plus insurance on average is $200 plus a month. Thats 1k in just car ownership. With the price of groceries and rent gone up i dont think ppl care about insurance when it comes to budget.

Problem here is people demanding to have material things and getting a car with $700 payments on 25% interest 84 month term rather than getting a $7k reliable car that they can afford
